I ordered on 13th August a cake with flowers for Wedding anniversary on 16th August, worth 1548 INR. Order was accepted and amount got debited. On 16th no one shown up and the order got cancelled without any explanation. I tried to reach out to their chat service on 17th August asking for the reason and refund. An agent said it "as its outskirts of their service area, they couldnt deliver" and the amount was converted to gift voucher without my approval. I requested the same time to intiate my refund to the source account and they confirmed it. Today 24th August I tried again to reach out and the agent today says they havent receievd any refund request to source account. And they say again to wait 8-10 days without any guilt. This agent Mr.Manish was really rude that he doesnt want to hear my complain and jsut ended the chat.
As a gift delivering company, its a ridiculous to deal in such a way where emotions and feelings are utilized for business.
I need an explanation and solution on below points :
1. Why did they accept the order which they cant deliver ?
2. Why was the refund amount converted to their own gift coupon(which is of no use for me) without my confirmation ?
3. Why my amount is not refunded yet even after 10 days of the cancellation ??
