On August 21, 2022 I ordered a Swiss beauty lipstick which was a prepaid order. On August 26, 2022, Flipkart informed me that the item was cancelled because seller stated the item ran out of stock (strange!) and he initiated the refund, which should be credited to my account by Sep 1, 22. A refund ID was provided. Then the money never came to my account. I contacted Flipkart innumerable times (a total of 17 mails were sent from both sides), provided my updated bank passbook statement 3-4 times, when asked (they need proof), provided my bank account details to them twice when asked and yesterday (Sep 16, 2022) i was mailed that the seller already refunded on 26th August '22 and stating a different refund ID. I didn't know Refund IDs get changed everytime like they are changing clothes! Meantime, i contacted my bank too, they informed they couldn't locate the amount so far. Flipkart kept on dragging the dates like hell and ultimately didn't return my money for a product which was cancelled by the seller. Order ID- OD[protected]

Complaint marked as Resolved They did one positive thing, that is came up with the correct refund ID number to make it easy for the bank to trace the amount.
