[Resolved] Flipkart — complaint regarding delivering product with missing item and also do misrepresentation to customers and not cooperating with customers | |||||
I purchased Singer fm promise1409 electric sewing machine from Flipkart dated 22 September 2018. of RS. 6599/- Order ID :- OD[protected]. In the description of the product their is information regarding in box items which must be their in box when they delivered. When the delivery of this sewing machine came we found that their is the missing item called oil bottle. Then I contact the Flipkart customer care executive and tell them about the delivery of product with missing item ( oil bottle) then the executive confirm that and apologize for the Inconvenience and placing the replacement order of the product. As the replacement come on 25 September 2018 day and we found the same missing product again As we are shocked that how can the Flipkart so called top online seller made mistake twice. So I again called customer care executive and told him about the missing item. The customer care executive explain the policy regarding the refund option. According to that they will collect product and gives the amount refund. But as I am buying sewing machine and not the oil bottle. So I don\'t want refund, but as a genuine buyer I want the product and willing to use this product. But as per consumer protection act 1986, 1) thier is right to protection against unfair trade practices. 2) seller must not to do misrepresentation 3) right to be informed As seller has to disclose all the factors such as price, information of product, the inbox items which are available with product. 4) not to cheat the consumer, but the Flipkart do all this things that they misrepresent the customer about the oil bottle is available with this product and they failed to deliver product with oil bottle even after the replacement of product. As I am law student there is my responsibility to stopped the unfair trade practices. I also registered complaint in JAGO GRAHAK JAGO ORGANIZATION ( Docket number: 953695. ) I request to take appropriate action regarding my complaint. Was this information helpful? | |||||
