[Resolved]  Flipkart — damaged goods

We order a voltas split ac from flipkart. The ac was delivered and after 2 days, it was installed. The ac looked perfectly fine when opened therefore we went ahead with the installation. Even at the time of installation, the workmen of voltas who were installing the ac did not check it properly. When the installation was over, the ac could not be switched on. Upon checking it was noticed that internal part called the display of the ac was missing and the ac cannot be switched on unless that part is fitted. It was not some external part that was missing, it was a crucial internal part of the ac without which ac could not be switched on. Upon inquiring with voltas, they said that they can call for the missing part but it might take weeks. Flipkart did not take any responsibility for the same and stated that the ac can be returned. When we asked flipkart that who will be held responsible for the damage caused to the wall due to installation, they refused to answer. However, there was no cooperation from flipkart. Flipkart acted in extremely high handed and unprofessional manner.
