[Resolved]  Flipkart — damaged non-returnable product delivered and no response from customer care

I had ordered a non-returnable food product as on 24.06.2020 but when i received the same as on 28.06.2020, it was in damaged condition. I tried to contact flipkart on the very day but unfortunately i could not do it. However, i did the same along with sufficient supportings on the following day (I. E. On 29.06.2020).

But there was no positive response from their side except the following message: "we are working on your issue. You can contact us in case you have any queries. Contactus". I waited for about 12 days & then again followed up with them as on 10.07.2020. But unfortunately this time also the result was the same.

All correspondences have been enclosed herewith that would speak for themselves. I seek a justified resolution to my issue at the earliest. Thanks & regards, nilanjan das.

Sir/Madam, Please be kind enough to share any new information regarding this issue instead of sharing the facts about which I am already well aware of. Before placing the order, I knew very well that it was a non-returnable product. But does that imply that if the seller or you (Flipkart) send a damaged product, the consumer is liable to accept and /or use it. Isn't it the part of the seller and Flipkart to ensure the integrity of the product (before it's delivery) so that the customer does not require to seek to raise complaint(s)???

Please just satisfy me with this answer that if you were the customer & received a non-returnable damaged product, what you would have done? For receiving a damaged product, can the customer be held responsible / liable? Please be kind enough to put yourself on the shoes of a customer & provide your views from the same view point. I hope that this time I shall get a positive fruitful response from your end. Thanks & Regards, Nilanjan Das.

It has been found that the order has been cancelled & refund process has been initiated from Flipkart end after the pick-up of the damaged product as on 28.07.2020 & the same refund is supposed to be completed by the following 2 days. Once the process is complete, I shall mark this issue as resolved. Thank you very much both Consumer Complaint & Flipkart Team for their support.

Hello, I’m a very sad Flipkart customer. I orderd many rakhi’s from Flipkart with order I’d OD[protected] and I received whole different products which is very upsetting and I’m not able to return them also. I think someone changed the products in between the delivery. These rakhi which I received doesn’t cost for 10rs and they took many rupees from me. I order these rakhi’s approx of 800 rs and I received disgusting products. The images and products i got are whole different. As you can see in images I’m really frustrated please i want a replacement before Raksha Bandhan or take these rakhi’s and give me money please.

Oil seal damage..already delivery boy saw oil leaked from the 2 bottle ..pls ask the delivery boy..there is oil on the floor.which has been front of the delivery boy..Big Eye witness .very bad service..delivery boy contact no- [protected].. boy name- Majid..pls ask him.

Dear Flipkart team,

Im a prime member, I had ordered one Inverter ( Luminous Zolt 1100 of Rs. 4899/- ) on 12th April 2022 and it was delivered to me on 15th April 2022.

When I unpacked the product, it was damaged and broken from one side, (The product was without any bill /receipt and warranty card ) so I immediately raised the return request through the Flipkart App.

On 18th April Night the same delivery Boy came to my residential address and picked up the product but it's been more than 24th hours, I have not received any confirmation of pick up from Flipkart nor my refund has been initiated. I have contacted the Flipkart customer care executive multiple times but did not receive a positive response.

Later, I filed a complaint against the seller & Ekart logistic team for delivering the damaged product to me and not getting updates from Ekart Logistic Team.

very disappointed with the Flipkart Service.
