[Resolved] Flipkart — Damaged product - delay in refund | |||||
Whirlpool refrigerator ordered on 7/5/2017. Delivery not made, however messages sent to phone stating delivery attempted. Was reported to flipkart & escalated on 15/5/2017. They apologized and convinced us it will be delivered soon. Product delivered on 19/5/2017 with just driver who asked me to lift the refrigerator. Again complaint raised with flipkart who promised action against tkil (Which has been closed with unknown reason as per customer care agent on 24/5/2017). We were assured fast installation, however no installation guy sent until 24/5/2017. Opened the package to find damaged fridge. Installation guy left and we called flipkart and registered a complaint. They promised to send a tech with two days (26/5/2017) and replacement will be done by 29/5/2017. Requested for refund as 29/5/2017 is too late, they said we have to wait for tech visit then decide. No tech arrived until 26/5/2017 - another call to flipkart they asked us to wait 24hr or till 29/5/2017. We informed them about their false promise to replace by 29/5/2017 & requested for refund again. They said tech has to confirm. Received message on 29th stating tech will visit on 30th,. And on 30th stating on 31st and 31st stating 1st june. Everyday we call them 2-3 times asking for money back. They keep dodging us promising tech will visit post which refund will be processed. It has been a month now since we spend 23, 000 in flipkart - and we do not have the money back neither a working a refrigerator. This has caused undue stress on my husband and me, we are paying double rent - for the new home which is still waiting for refrigerator for us to move in and the current home where we are still living out of.
