Flipkart — Delay in delivery and pressurizing to cancel the order | |||
I placed an order with Flipkart for a mobile handset MOTO G 2nd Generation Order number: OD[protected] Tracking ID: [protected] on the 27th of April, and I was promised delivery on the 4th of May. After several phone calls, two raised complaints and tweets, on the 4th of May I was told my problem was resolved and I would get delivery of my product on the 7th of may. On the 8th of May at 9.02 AM I got a call from a Flipkart representative telling me that FLIPKART the sole seller of all Google handsets were out of stock of this particular MOTO G Mobile phone and that i should place a new order if I wanted the phone. Convenient. He was pretty persistent in trying to make me cancel my current order and place a new order. What kind of service is this especially from a company who promises to be number one in their services? I have been harassed and troubled so much. I have waited almost 11 days for a phone that I order which ideally should have taken only 4 days as per the claims by Flipkart. If they are not able to deliver, they shouldn't have taken up the order. I am raising this issue to you in order to bring some kind of solution to the problem that i have been facing. I am also speaking for hundreds of other consumers like me who have been a victim of these so-called companies who claim to be the top amongst their lot for the exceptional services they provide to the customers.
