Flipkart — Delivery defective / substandard products to customers that stop working as soon as warranty is over and cost a bomb for repairs. | |
I purchased a mobile handset, “Sony Xperia ZR (Black)” for my daughter vide Order ID: OD [protected]. She could not even use it fully as she had to concentrate on Class XII exams. But as soon as the warranty expired, the battery started getting drained fast and the handset started getting excessively heated up. I showed it to the authorized service centre and they promptly checked and informed that repair cost would be Rs. 23000. The original price of purchase is Rs.26000. Now the handset is idle as repair cost is equivalent to the purchase price. This is gross cheating on the part of Flipkart as they deliver substandard / defective products. Customers are losing faith in Flipkart and stop buying anything from them. Word of mouth is spreading fast and Flipkart is going to be out of business soon if they don’t act promptly to recall supply of defective / substandard products and replace them genuine products immediately.
