Flipkart — Faulty ASUS ZENPHONE 5

Hello I am sick and tired of writing you a mail for last so many days and every time I write a mail I am given the same response that the issue will be resolved in next 24 hrs. What is happening? Is there anyone even listening? I want the phone to be replaced. Who is working on it? Are you guys capable of resolving my issue or just wasting time? (04/05/2015 09.56 PM) Hello I am utterly disappointed with the kind of response from Flipkart. I had been writing mails since 1st May, 2015 but till date nothing has happened. My sister even called the Call center to ask you for a suitable solution/return of the instrument. Dispite of assurance from Flipkart that they would call at 9pm, no call came. If you are not able to provide me a solution, then kindly let me know the next escalation point. After all the troubles, I dont think I am even willing to make the repairs on the phone, that you have been asking me in your mails. The reason being, you people dont have enough time to give a call and let me know the password.. If I dont get a mail/response for either Return of the instrument or Refund of the the money I had spent on buying this phone, in next couple of days, then I am afraid, I will have to go to the consumer court and file a case. I am very sorry to hear that you're facing sound issue with your new phone. It seems to be a minor issue which can be fixed by performing a simple trouble-shootingsteps from your end. I request you to please follow the below steps. As the last troubleshooting step. let's try with reset of the device by the following steps : Ensure that you are not covering the speaker on the device. Ensure the protective film that ships with the device has been removed. If you are using a case, cover or screen protector on the device, try removing and trying without it. The earpiece volume on the device can only be adjusted while on a call. The proximity sensor may require you to pull the phone away from the your face in order to adjust the volume. Try making a test call and adjust the call volume. While in call try using the speakerphone or a wired headset to see if issue persists. (If issue exists while using other method, problem is likely related to signal strength or coverage area) You may experience distorted audio while at the highest setting, try decreasing the volume to see if this corrects the problem. Safe mode starts the device without any 3rd party applications being started. This will allow you to open apps individually to try and determine which app may be causing the issue. To Enable Safe Mode 1. Press the Power key 2. Touch and hold Power off 3.Touch OK when Reboot to safe mode appears 4. Phone will reboot and Safe Mode will appear in bottom left corner 5. While in Safe Mode, launch apps one at a time to identify the app causing the problem 6. Remove the app that causes the problem from the device To remove an application: Touch Menu > Play Store > Menu > My apps Touch the application that you want to remove Touch Uninstall, then confirm by touching OK After you have identified and removed the application you can disable safe mode by power cycling the device. Software updates come out periodically and may contain performance enhancements for the device. Step 1. Tap on Menu Step 2. Tap on Settings Step 3. Tap on About phone Step 4. Tap on System Updates Your device will check if any updates are available. If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update. As the last troubleshooting step. let's try with factory reset of the device by the following steps : 1. Touch Apps 2. Touch Settings 3. Scroll down and touch Privacy 4. If you would like to back up and restore your personal data, touch the Back up my data and Automatic restore check boxes. 5. Touch Factory Data Reset 6. Touch Erase internal storage (media area) 7. Touch Reset Phone. It is recommended that you will be required to setup your device and email after performing the Factory Data Reset. All of a sudden, I find that the i cannot hear the voice of the other person to whom I have called. Not sure what the problem is. What could be the solution? If there are no solution then kindly either replace the phone and proide me the same phone model again or I would like to return the phone and get the refund.
