[Resolved]  Flipkart — Faulty item received

Hi,

I have ordered a Lenovo A6000 from Flipkart(order number- OD[protected] at date. It’s not even a week past that I purchased the product and its proving a faulty one. I have experienced heating issue with the device and in spite of several complaints no action is taken yet.
The temperature goes up to 43 degrees even when the device is ideal and no applications running in background. I have raised the concern to Flipkart support team and they advised me to clear the phone memory and moving all the data to SD card. After all the complaints and troubleshooting the concern remains the same, I keep on contacting them every day but no resolution so far. Flipkart is just fooling around and issues are unresolved.
Adding more to my problems the battery is whooping and am not even able to take a call for 10 minutes, do I need to carry a charger all the time?
The support team members are making me install unnecessary apps to check the device as if the customer is not experiencing any issues, and their response is – ‘maximum temperature for an android phone is 45 degrees so this cannot be accepted as a defect’. Though the battery has clearly mentioned maximum temperature is 45 degrees, Is Flipkart waiting for the battery to burst out? I also the screenshots indicating the temp at 45 degree Celsius and phone showing a prompt message to remove the battery as its over temperature.

It has been a very bad experience and I feel cheated with the laid back response. It would be great if you take some action to refund against this purchase rather than saying sorry for inconvenience as escalating the same issue in several complaints is very annoying.

Spoke to customer and got to know that he was facing some heating issue with his handset and we have already provided T/S steps and found that the handset was not defective. So informed customer to get an acknowledgement from the service center if proven defective, will arrange for replacement. Customer agreed. So closing the case.
