[Resolved] Flipkart — Flipkart not taking back defective item | |||||
Hi, I ordered a XOLO ERA 1X -4G with LTE (Black and Gun Metal, 8 GB) mobile (OD[protected] and it got delivered on 1st March. The mobile has several issues – - calling functionality not working properly-sometimes opens and sometimes doesn’t - hanging issue-can’t call or receive call for hours - touch is very poor-lagging issue After experiencing all these issues, I realized that it’s a defective item and decided to return it (Flipkart has a 10 day return policy) the next day. But the delivery status in Track order section is showing as dispatched and not delivered till today making me unable to initiate the return (return option will remain disabled until the delivery status is updated by them) from my end. I called, mailed the Flipkart executives for return and they initially assured me of suitable resolution by 6th March. Now, today it is 9th and till now I haven’t received any resolution. Instead going through these painful experience while interacting with Flipkart – - Called them 10-15 times…every time have to explain the entire story to each customer care executive - Not even a single time got any call back from them regarding any resolution. - They are not answering anything about this absurd delay…only telling that there is some technical issue and they working on it - Not willing to transfer the call to the concerned dept and even if after several requests they transfer no one will pick up despite of waiting for several mins - Several times would disconnect the call midway when you are frustrated with ‘technical issue’ type reply and want to know specific reason for the delay - Will test your patience by suggesting you to restart the phone to solve the issue - Mailed several times to them but every time they are replying back by saying that they are working on that and would come back with a resolution…now they have stopped replying also Now, according to them, the status is showing delivered at their end. And hence, they are deliberately not updating the delivery status in track order for me so that I can’t initiate the return from my end and also the return policy time will get over by tomorrow. Being completely vexed and assured of their non-cooperation I am writing to you for your suggestion to solve the issue.
