Flipkart — Large difference in exchange value of phone

I ordered a phone(Realme GT Master Edition, 8 GB, 256 GB) during the Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale(3rd October, Sunday). The price of the phone was listed at Rs.29, 999 -/-.

I decided to avail myself of an exchange offer on the phone by offering my Redmi Note 9 Pro. Brief pointers about my phone:
1. Perfect screen without any crack, discoloration, screen coming out.
no touch issues.
2. Perfect camera, microphone, flash, speakers.
3. No dent on the body, with the stickers still intact.

The exchange price offered was Rs.14, 150 -/-(provided my phone has no issues.)

Delivery was made on 5th October at about 12 PM. The "trained"(words of the customer executive I spoke to) delivery executive showed me a "dent" on the top left side of my phone. The "dent", he spoke of was an extremely minor scratch. I agreed to go through with the exchange, hoping that there would a slight drop in the exchange price. He seemed extremely convinced with his evaluation and maintained that he could not do anything. I did not want to argue with him, as it was his job.

Then, the final invoice generated showed only a discount of Rs.9650 -/-, a difference of Rs.4500 -/- from the original exchange amount. I agreed to go through with the exchange, as the only other choice was to pay the full Rs.29, 999-/- and keep my old phone with me.

I spoke to a customer executive(after two failed dropped calls), hoping that he/she could help me resolve the issue. However, I was told that I could do nothing as it was "company policy". I don't expect the full exchange value of Rs.14, 150 -/-, but at the least, I can expect is Rs. 12, 100 -/-.
This is considering the "dent" pointed out by the delivery executive.

I asked the customer support executive, if he could provide the difference amount(Rs.2450 -/-) in form of a voucher or gift card or something. He said that he was helpless as it was not company policy.

I have been a long-time user of Flipkart, ever since its inception. I buy books, electronics and shoes mostly. I have had a bad experience and would definitely think twice before buying something on Flipkart.

Hope my issue gets resolved and my faith in Flipkart gets restored.
