[Resolved]  Flipkart — Lenovo K3 note Hanging and Heating issue

Product Order ID- OD[protected] 1) I am facing heating issue, hanging issue and volume is getting higher automatically after sometimes in this smartphone. Also It shuts down automatically while charging and it was not up if I try to restart the mobile. So I had to take off the battery and put it on. 2) Coming to Flipkart friendly ploicy, I do not feel there is much difference between manufacturer warranty and flipkart friendly return policy. They were simply informing me following information when i had asked for replacement for this mobile since I was facing the above said issues a) Flipkart will tell how to troubleshoot the issues since I do not know about mobile(According to flipkart). b) Take your mobile to authorised service center and confirm whether the problem is there, then flipkart will help. c) About battery charging, flipkart is claiming according to manufacturer, this smartphone takes 4 hours to 8 hours to completely charge the battery. d) Consider only battery temperature that should be below 48 degree ( My mobile is new and it is coming upto 44 degree if i use gps for 20mins), they wont give possible solution. 3) Even if the battery heat is below 48 degree, if it comes to 37 degree, I am facing lot of heat in upper front of the mobile. At that time you cannot call someone. Sametime if you are using gps for 15mins and try to call someone, you might face the heating issue. 4) Smartphone automatically shuts down sometimes whenever I am using file explorer. Raised Replacement/ Refund request 4 times, but no proper response, their reasons were 1) One time, they did not speak to me properly and said reason as "The issue has been resolved between you and the seller. Hence, there will be no replacement or refund". I did not contact Lenovo for this issue since flipkart promised me 30 days replacement policy. 2) Support team asked me to do trouibleshooting by resetting the phone, kill all apps after every usage to avoid heating issue. 3) In their selling page, I did not see that this mobile will take 4hours min to 8 hours maximum for completely charge the mobile, but they were claiming that manufacturer says like that. 4) Flipkart support team asking me to take my smartphone to Lenovo authorised service center about these complaints and prove it, then refund/replacement will be considered. 5) They checked with manufacturer and they were not giving proper response. Resolution Expected. 1) Flipkart should remove the friendly replacement policy from their website since that is not happening as mentioned. Since i have informed the issues after 3 days o[censored]sage itself, they were keep on asking me to contact manufacturer indirectly. Then I do not know the difference between manufacturer warranty and flipkart friendly policy. 2) I am expecting proper solution for this issues.

Again flipkart is asking me to goto lenovo service center and ask to fill job sheet about the issues in phone. Already lenovo is providing manufacturer warranty. So lenovo themselves will replace the mobile. But still I do not know what is flipkart 30 days replacement policy. Please remove these claim from flipkart site. If I ask about this question, you are drpping the call by saying you will call tomorrow. Do not play with customers.

I also bought K3 note just 4 months back. The mobile is hanging, heating and the touch screen is not responding while typing or taking up call. Its highly frustrated with this situation. Any one can help on how to resolve these issues.

Even I am facing the same issue, I brought this phone on 5th April 2016, ever since i am facing hanging issue. When i called the Flipkart customer care, they registered by refund issue, but asked me to install smart check (which is not smart enough to show the test results) and do the testing, after which they say there is no issues with the phone. Later they said they will send the executive to my place to check for issues (latest by 17th April 2016, 9pm ) which did not happen. When i called the customer care, they say that this facility is not available in Bangalore, then why the hell they should give this false promise, and waste my 3 days..

Now they are telling to take one day off from office and visit service center and kill my day.

its a fraud... worst phone... its display is always hanging.. heating problem... the phone is heated after 10min. i[censored] are using Data connection or gps or wifi... battery drain in 2-3 hours... but take 2 hours to charge ... i[censored] use camera for 5-10 min..., battery drain upto 20%... its really shoking... sometimes it restrat automatically...

worst phone... don't buy lenovo phones... its just wastage of money
I have taken k3 lenevo note 5 months back from flip kart, it worked properly till now, but now it has started to heat and hanging. If it hanged, 2 or 3 minutes it shows black screen and won't allow to work with any keys like start and volume button, if I wanted to give call for urgency, that time I am facing very big problem, please tell lenevo company to provide
updated software for this issue, it is very helpful to all users otherwise it is bad impression to flipkart company.
