[Resolved]  Flipkart — Missing product and harassing customers by not initiating return

My order ID is OD[protected]. I had placed an order for two lamps but only one was sent. I raised a request for return several times but the pathetic Flipkart customer service kept refusing my return request stating that the product was delivered. Yes, one lamp was sent but not the other lamp. Two lamps were supposed to be sent but only one lamp was sent. Now they are harassing customers by refusing return request. I have the box with me which was delivered and that can accommodate only 1 lamp and not 2 lamp. Still Flipkart is not initiating return of my product.

Finally after emailing and calling Flipkart over a period of two weeks, Flipkart agreed to refund the amount for delivering only a partial and defective product. ***Sighs***

Further I raised the return request twice within the 7 day window period but Flipkart customer service took more than 3 days to respond to my request and ultimately rejected the return request giving some false excuses. Since there was so much delay on the part of Flipkart, the return period is over and now I cannot raise another request. Moreover noone contacted me despite escalating the issue several times and didn't even bother to call and tell me why my request was rejected. If they would have called, I would have explained to them where they went wrong. Infact I raised the return request on the very day of delivery and still my issue is not resolved till date. Pathetic customer service and moreover so keen to harass your customers for no fault of theirs.

It been 6 days and till date no revert and no call! Everyday they keep extending their timeline to resolve. Flipkart gives a missed call and says that they tried to contact me? This is how you cheat your customers?

I got this below email from Flipkart and then they marked it as "issue resolved". Can any lay man here make me understand how this email resolves my issue????

Please see the attached screenshot. After I reopened the query for not resolving my issue, Flipkart sends me this response requesting to wait for resolution but at the same time, marks the issue as RESOLVED.

I completely fail to understand this attitude of Flipkart. I guess I really need to take legal recourse now and also make this known in other social platform so that noone is cheated in future.

Finally the complaint was resolved after 14 long days and writing/calling Flipkart several times. What a waste of time and effort for return of a missing item in a product! I really wish they were faster in resolution like Amazon. This was too simple a return request and for that Flipkart took 14 long days to refund! Buck up guys!
