[Resolved]  Flipkart — my order (od[protected] is not delivered on time. it's still pending

Hello sir/ma'am,

I have placed an order (Od[protected] on online shopping site for mobiles, electronics, furniture, grocery, lifestyle, books & more. Exclusive offers! On 10 sep 2018. Got an update for delivery date as 12 sep. Later on, got to know that due to some mishap happens with delivery boy order delivery is delayed. That's ok, sometime it happens. I started follow up with customer care and got to know that my order will be delivered by 17 sep 2018. I was very angry that my order delivery was going to be delayed by 5 days. I kept following with customer care on phone and twitter and was getting same reply every time that my order will be delivered by 17 sep.

Now today was 17th sep and today in the morning i called the customer support as i expected my order delivery, but customer support executive told me that they won't be deliver my product and asked me to cancel the order.

They asked me to place a new order. I denied to cancel the order as i have waited already for 5 days.

This type of phones is only available on flipkart. Also this product is coming with flash sale and went out of stock within a second. As they asked me to place a new order so today (17 sep), it was the sale day so i tried once again but unable to do that as it went out of stock.

Now they have my money since 10th sep 2018 and not delivering the product which they are liable to.

They are saying that in these type of rare scenarios, they can't do anything. I asked them to add same product in my cart as this is flash sale but they are denying for that as well.

Also, when i ordered this phone there was some hdfc bank offer was going on so i bought this phone inr 500 cheaper and now that offer has gone. Hypothetical, if i ordered a new phone today i would have paid 500 more for same product which i was getting cheaper earlier.

What a customer can do now? Flipkart stopped replying my mails & tweets. Showing unfair trades and complete negligence towards a customer.

Hello Team,

This is regarding the cancellation of the order (OD[protected].

Your customer care support executive Mr. Akshay Kumar Shalavedi have deliberately cancelled my order without my permission/consent. Your customer support executive admitted that he imagined all this and cancelled my order. I never asked for cancellation or refund.

I asked him to transfer my call to the senior level as this is an insult of a customer and became serious concern for me. But, unfortunately did'nt get chance to talk to senior as they were busy, even I waited for 10-15 min also. But they were busy whole the time. So I asked Akshay to drop me a mail, as per our conversation, but he acted smart and played with words, wrote the mail as mention below.

"As per our telephonic conversation, we are really sorry for the inconvinience caused. We would like to inform you that the product was lost in transit from the courier service provider, due to which we have taken a cancellation request against the same and seller has approved the cancellation request. The seller has approved the refund request and once it is marked as returned the seller will initiate the refund of Rs. 5499/- thereafter it will reflect in your bank account in 6 business days as per standard banking procedure."

I again asked him to write the mail with correct words.

Who authorize him to cancel my order? Is this the right process to deal with your customer?
