Flipkart — Not replacing the defective handset because i dont have the box | |||
I had purchased Mi India Mi4i on the very first sale conducted on the 30th of April via Flipkart (Order Number OD[protected]. Three days back the front camera of my phone started giving issues. As soon as i turn on the camera, the display becomes highly pixelated and pink in color.The above mentioned issue is only with the front cam. Yesterday i received a call from your product specialist and i was asked to follow some steps at the end of which the problem was confirmed to be a manufacturing defect and a replacement was processed (ID :[protected]. Since i had ordered the phone while i was in Mangalore and the phone seemed to be working fine for ten days or so, I came to Kolkata for my vacations without the box. I received a mail stating that the product cannot be exchanged without the product box.What should i do in this case? I am not expected to carry the product box everywhere I go. You cannot foresee a manufacturing defect creeping up in a 13K handset some 10 days after its purchase.Please help!!! Was this information helpful? | |||
