Flipkart — Order cancelled without prior information and no refund | |||||
I have ordered Samsung LED TV 40", OD[protected] on November 4th. The order was not delivered as per promise and I raised a concern first on November 12th. After 1 week of continuous follow up, I got a mail saying "as per your request the product has been cacelled" on nov 23rd. I called Flipkart customer care and they informed that, the product has been cancelled by seller. I have been insisting on delivering the same product by different seller with Flipkart at the same price, which Flipkart said, they will look into it. Even after 8 days, they neither refunded the money Nor delivered the product. On 30th Nov, I received a call from flipkart saying they will refund the amount, and do a price match if I order the same item by 1/12 11AM. Since I didn't receive any response / call from Flipkart today, I called the CS, I have asked to move my call to second level / third level, the senior executive now tells that the order is yet to be received to the origin, hence refund is on hold. As per them seller cancelled the order, now they are telling we are waiting for the return. When I look at the current status of the order on flipkart, its showing as item returned :( ) The most unfortunate thing is, none of their Customer support team keeps their promise, they keep changing the status / reasons why there is no refund. They try to take people as granted. It appears like just by not delivering the product and not returning the money with false excuses one can get a good interest in one month and which I believe they are doing the same... Interestingly they also say, we tried to reach you but your phone is engaged, when I ask if its engaged why can't u do a retry.. there is no answer. And when I ask what is the update you are trying to convey over phone to CS, they will say we don't know :( we will get your issue in 24 hours.. its almost a month Nov 4th to Dec 1st. This to me, appears like a clear ethical issues with flipkart team. Its very hard for me to trust Flipkart on any of those promises and commitments. Everytime you speak, you will hear a different story... such a shame... for claiming themselves a number 1 e-com company. Was this information helpful? | |||||

The worst thing about OD[protected], so far they have been telling they are waiting an update from Seller, today i did lot of research and able to found the exact seller and location. I contacted the seller directly, they told me clearly that they didn't receive money or they didn't deliver the product. When the order came, it was cancelled by someone (not sure who). I asked them if Flipkart contacted them in past 20 days either by email or Phone, They clearly told NO, NO NO. What is wrong with Flipkart? Why are they lying and cheating customers? Are these guys taking people for ransom

The worst part is even senior super visors doesn't look the issue fully and they just try to say a story, its only if i use an abusive language, they actually look into details of the issue and try to do something or at least act as if they are doing.
They kept the money for 1 month, credit card interest 2%, number of calls more than 1 each day, and each time i call, they keep me on hold for 20 mins ..
It is such a shame that flipkart is doing such a cheap tactics to make money by way of holding customer money and not delivering the product and not refunding immediately.
