Flipkart — Product cancelled automatically & shipped back without even informing me | |||||
I made a purchase from Flipkart.com on 3 October, 2016 1:30 PM during the big billion day sale. The product I purchased is "SanDisk SDDD2-064G-I35 64 GB OTG Drive (Black)" at a price of INR 799. I grabbed them when I found it on sale at a very reduced price As my card details was not handy, I made a COD(cash_on_delivery) order. I confirmed that the payment was approved by Flipkart. I even got an sms regarding that. I was frequently accessing the "Track Order" tab on flipkart.com and I found the product was not even shipped till 9th of October 2016, which is 6 days from order date. And then it was following a usual shipping, as it always does. I was waiting for the product eagerly. I am already using a 16Gb OTG version of the same brand. When I checked on 12th October 2016, the track says it reached my place on[protected] and was shipped back. The reason was Pincode-Address mismatch, which is not at all true. I have recieved products on the same address even 5 days back. I contacted the flipkart customer care team right away and they said I am having a wrong pincode. I confirmed to them what they spoke is wrong and my address is correct. I then asked for the senior team and after a long waiting they spoke like the courier partner(the logistics team) no more serves my area, which is a BS to speak of. Then why did they approve my order. It is their mistake to choose the wrong path to reach my address. And without even sending an sms they cancelled my order and shipped it back. Now they want me to make a new purchase at a higher price. I WANT THE SAME PRODUCT AT THE SAME PRICE TO BE SHIPPED BACK AT MY ADDRESS. Order ID: OD[protected] My registered email id : [protected]@gmail.com My registered mobile number: 94****8893 This is not the first time I am having an issue with flipkart delivery. Last time, my phone has to travel a double distance to reach me. I ignored that issue, I have screenshots of how it travelled from Banglore to Cochin, Kerala and then went back to Banglore & sent to Calicut, Kerala.If needed I can produce screenshot of the same. same problem. flipkart is ### for delivery. They cancel order without even notification. hell..
