[Resolved]  Flipkart — refund issue with order id od[protected]

After a terrible experience and complete loss of trust with order id od[protected]Kross maximus 26 dual suspension 21 speed mountain bike for adults red 26 t 21 speed mountain cycle), now i am having to go thru yet another bizarre experience with the refund on same order.

For no mistake of mine, i am being forced to use the flipkart gift voucher worth rs 8000. I want to register that, after carefully checking the promised delivery date, i specifically purchased the flipkart gift voucher worth rs8000 only to buy this product but the promised delivery date was missed 5 times in a row and ultimately the product wasn’t delivered by the seller.

After a nightmare and several rounds of follow-ups via mail and phone, the amount has been refunded back as gv (The original mode of payment). Due to the horrible experience with last order, i am really unwilling to use the gv now and demand the same be transferred to my bank account. If i had not shopped with flipkart, i had the option to buy the voucher of other vendor like amazon etc.. I have no plans to buy any product from flipkart in near future and this rule is forcing me to do so within the validity period. This also means that even if there is a lack of service guarantee from flipkart, there is no business loss whatsoever. This is an unhealthy business practice.

I very well understand that there is a “term and condition” around this but not as detailed to this case specifically. By this gesture flipkart cannot force me to be a continued customer for a lifetime beyond rs 8000.

We had interacted with the customer, apologized for the inconvenience as per the terms and conditions the refund will be transferred to the original mode of payment and we have informed regarding refund which has been completed from our end, hence closing the case.

I am not satisfied with the resolution as I am being forced to be a Flipkart customer thru this GV. What other options I have? How to proceed with a legal complaint?

I want a compensation for the hassles I have gone thru or complete refund to the original account.
