Flipkart — Samsung galaxy s 7

I am extremely disappointed to inform you that that made the mistake of buying a samsung galaxy s7 edge on march 12, 2016 through flipcart under the scheme to get a gear vr free alongwith the phone. The flipcart order number od[protected] dated march 12, 2016.

Now when i tried to get the gear vr, he has got a coupen (Code vr2303chcd59ppqy) in the my galaxy app for 50% discount on gear vr, as against 100% which on promised when we bought the phone.
I then called the samsung helpline number on my galaxy app at[protected] and was informed that there is an error made by the galaxy department and i should send an email to this e mail id.

Several reminders on facebook and twitter have fallen to deaf ears. After making many effort, was able to get through to samsung’s so called ceo’s office through email id and there has not been any response for last few weeks. I challenge anyone to find out any email id of any samsung personnel.

Both samsung and flipcart will tell you that they will call you and they expect the customer to be available whenever they call. When you ask them to correspond on email, they will not respond. Surprising isn’t it.
Now samsung has launched gear vr at rs. 990 with its galaxy phone which again is a sham and i am sure no one will get anything.

This is a huge mistake committed by samsung which is hurting your brand and image big time. Do you expect the customers to have so much time to keep chasing and writing emails for something that they are entitled to get. Can you not check internally and find out customers who paid and bought the phone during the scheme period irrespective of the channel and make sure that an appropriate discount coupen (100% of 50%) is provided to them. It is really surprising to see samsung carry out such a big blunder with its brand.

Earlier last month, i visited samsung retail shop at linking road, bandra (West) to get this sorted out and learnt that it was shop operated by a franschisee called ssk retail. The senior most person at the store named shahnawaz khan informed me that he was not able to help and advised me to write an email to samsung and flipcart. He also informed me that if we had bought the phone from the shop instead of flipcart, he would have resolved the issue. This is ridiculous. Is this is the case, then why is samsung selling the device through e comm channel.

I for sure am going to think twice before buying into any samsung product or promise henceforth. To top it all, i am told that it was a mistake (I) to buy on flipcart and not on ssk retail and (Ii) by samsung but i will have to write an email to make them realise that and get my due.

A highly irritated and aggrieved customer of samsung and flipcart.
