[Resolved] Flipkart — Unethical business experience from Flipkart | |
Order details: * Item name : Acer Aspire 7 core i5 9th Gen laptop * Order placed on July 7th * Item was delivered on July 9th * Paid through credit card for 3 months Emi Description : I received the item on July 9th. The inside laptop box wasn't from Acer, the seal was already broken. Then I went through the instructions and turned on power button and it immediately took me to the homepage. There was no startup process which confirms that the item is not a new one. As I have received a used laptop with broken seal, I raised return with flipkart immediately. Then the agent called me and helped me in correcting the reason code for return request. On July 11th, the call with quality team was completed and then I was waiting for technician visit. Every single day after July 11th, I used to get call from "Jeeves" for technician visit and they used to disconnect the call immediately. When I try to call them back, they used to disconnect. Hence, the technician wasn't contacting me properly for having a communication. So I always contacted flipkart immediately with the screenshot of call history to inform them that this is happening everyday. They kept assuring me that the technician visit will happen and the item will be returned back to the merchant on or before July 28th. As I purchased this laptop for work use, I had to purchase another laptop from outside as flipkart gave me assurance that the item will be returned back to the merchant on or before July 28th. However, today, July 23rd, I got a call from Flipkart and the agent wantedly cancelled my return request even though I confirmed him not to do so as I am still waiting for the technician visit. I tried calling back flipkart many times and they are unable to resolve the issue. I have requested for a supervisor or escalate the issue with flipkart multiple times, but they are not helping. Jul 26, 2021 Complaint marked as Resolved Flipkart contacted and immediately arranged return. Within hours item was taken back and refund is also issued. Hence, closing the case. You may contact your bank’s customer care with the refrence number (040652) using the number mentioned on the back of your card in case you need further assistance. If they are unable to help, you may raise a dispute with the bank's grievance cell. | |
