[Resolved] Flipkart — unfair trade practices | |
I had ordered a redmi note 5 gold colour 4gb + 64 gb combination phone under exchange policy of flipkart on june 22, 2018 against order id: od[protected]. When flipkart personnel came to deliver on june 23, he denied to pick up old phone and deliver new phone without stating any reason and payment was already made in advance to flipkart. It was stated by the personnel that his boss does not like this model of phone which was to be exchanged for new phone whose details was already shared with flipkart team while placing the order, so he denied. It again happened on june 23, june 25 and june 26 with different personnel of flipkart with same reason.in the meantime i had registered a complaint with flipkart through its mobile application and through twitter on june 23 itslef stating my concern. The complaint was acknowledged by flipkart for both the means of complaint. Timeline for resolution was provided as june 26. Upon regular follow ups from flipkart executive i received a call from flipkart executive on june 26 and was assured that this complain has been escalated to senior authority and will get resolved in 24 - 48 hrs ie by june 28. But to my surprise on june 27 morning, my order was cancelled without intimating me and no consent was taken from me. On one hand flipkart cancelled the order and on other side they are assuring me to resolve the issue by june 28. Due to all this drama 1. It has resulted in unfair trade practise 2. Order got delayed and at the end cancelled abrubtly. 3. Mental harrassement from flipkart 4. The time and money wasted on follow ups, calls, mesgs 5. It caused me a lot of mental agaony.
