[Resolved]  Flipkart — violation of consumer delivery guarantee ethics

Hello,

I ordered a samsung on max mobile device through flipkart.com on 18th aug 2019 in the morning for rs.12, 560 including the rs.70 for express delivery within 24 hours the next day on 19th august 2018. Waited all day at home in lieu that the mobile phone shall be delivered within the guaranteed time. There was no update, neither any tracking number provided from flipkart and when i saw there were no delivery or response i contacted the customer care where it was informed me that they don't have any information of the package and it's a mistake of the seller. I thought flipkart a medium as a seller and is the platform to regulate/maintain selling and buying with their guaranteed assurance on deliveries. The customer care department executive told me on/by 22nd of august i am supposed to get an email as resolution whether i will receive my package or not and asked me several times whether if i intend to cancel the order. When i asked that if the money got deducted from my bank account instantly, will your company reverse transfer it back in my account... They said it is not our company resolution and shall be informed when they will do that. I didn't cancel my order understanding the policies through their faq that the money shall be withhold in their account which i can't transfer back to my bank account but to purchase products from their website amounting the same.

I asked the representative to transfer my call to a senior supervisor who after a discussion assured me that the product will be delivered on 20th august 2018 as he has updated the same with the seller and courier partner.
He was supposed to send me a text after the call ends with the complaint number which i asked for which till now has not arrived.
Instead by force they had sent me an sms mentioning that "we have escalated your issue to the concerned team. We will resolve your problem by 22 aug, 9.00 p. M. You will get a call from a number starting with +9180679" which was supposed to be resolved and the manager assured me that the mobile phone will be sent to my door step by 20th august 2018 (All voice files can be retrieved as proof).

I would request the authorities to look into the concern where many customers/consumers are been deprived of their services they should be getting and it's an harassment and deep physiological torture & agony for the one who are waiting for the product which they require urgently and ordered for so with their hard earned money.

Customer raised a complaint regarding order. We have interacted with the customer and informed that the order was cancelled by the seller due to unavoidable circumstances and also provided the refund timelines. Hence, closing complaint from our end.
