Ford India — major loss service delay along with recurrence of engine problems within 20 kms of run after service | |||
I have been driving ford figo for last few years and met an accident this december (No legal issues as both parties agreed out of court). The estimated cost was told to me was around 1, 60, 000 rs. And as i had tata aig nil depreciation cover, i agreed. My car stayed there in the agency for around 2 months though they promised me 4-5 weeks. Last one week they kept telling me that they were doing engine check up so that i don't face any problem later. I had to pay around 15, 000 from my pocket (Rest was covered in insurance). After driving 3-4 days itself, my car stopped suddenly and i was told that there is some engine problem which they did not see during their assessment. I was again asked to pay 4, 000. Basically i am not sure whether they did the engine work initially and gave me false promises. I was really disappointed with the service delay as well as with the attitude of service manager in the body shop. Was this information helpful? | |||
