Ford India — New car engine malfunction with 15 days of purchase. | |||
I bought a new ford figo titanium blu on oct23 2020. While driving on a kacha road a stone hit engine oil sump if my car. I pulled over the car immediately and took the help of towing service to reach the showroom. The showroom people after keeping the car for 10days reported that the engine has malfunctioned and should be replaced that costs 1.5 lakh. Ford sales team mandated me to purchase insurance from them in lieu of dusserah offer and now the insurance company says the car didnot get comprehensive insurance and engine cannot be insured. Ford sales team at visakpatnam pps ford didnot mention me about the insurance addon policy that covers the engine and the service team gas been so rude to me on contacting ford on [protected]@ford.com to explaij my regret. I wish a proper action shall be taken on the same for 1) handing over a improper insurance policy and mandating me to purchase it from ford itself. 2) A brand new car's engine getting malfunctioned within 15days of purchase, that is now costing me around 1.5lakh. The car didnot even get its fisrst service done and the permanent registration number hasnt come yet. Please help me to reslove the issue do justice with respect to the issue. The insurance and the build quality are both bad from ford end and I am suffering mental torture and financial loss from 11th midnight till date after not even using the car for 20days after purchase.
