2 complaints, spoke to 4 service managers and countless call center executives and one email to Grievance Redressal Officer, Siddhartha Bijapurkar (Asst. Vice President – Customer Fulfillment and Complaint Redressal). But, no one responded.
This is what had happened.
When I took the loan (this was my 2nd loan, 1st loan was with SBH and closed it perfectly, before the date). So, when i tool the loan I was banking with HDFC. Later I have moved to another bank as I had moved to a different bank and hence stopped. When I had called the customer care and informed to stop ECS, they said they will not be able to do so but I can pay it online and no extra charges shall be levied. I have done so without fail.
However I kept receiving sms that my cheques were getting bounced. Upon calling customer care I was informed that it should not be a problem as I have made the payment online.
I have called again today and a service manager named Abhishek had answered the call and informed me that it will be resolved by Jan 29th. However, I am very confident that this will not happen and hence posting it here.
