I would like to bring to attention a recent experience my friends and I had at Fun Cinema, DD Mall in Gwalior during a morning show. Upon attempting to purchase our tickets, we were informed by the staff that buying food was compulsory with the tickets. Despite our preference not to order any food, we were told that it was necessary for the morning shows due to the lower ticket prices. To avoid incurring additional charges, we opted to purchase our tickets online without any food. This incident raises concerns about the lack of policy transparency and the undermining of customer autonomy. While cinema halls have the right to prohibit outside food, compelling customers to buy in-house food is questionable and not in line with fair business practices.
