Go First Airlines — Rescheduling of airline without consent and non provision of hotel

1. I, Nishank Gupta, a serving officer in the Indian Navy, booked a flight with my wife and a 3-Year-Old daughter from New Delhi to the Maldives for 22nd April 2022 via PNR Number W65RJF with Flight No G8 33.

2. However, the airline has canceled the above-mentioned flight and has scheduled me on a connecting flight via Mumbai with the below-mentioned timings:-

3. I would like to bring out the fact that I booked my flight in February 2022 and Without my concurrence, I have been rescheduled on a connecting flight via Mumbai and that too at such Odd Hours and with a 3-year-old baby with me.

4. Firstly, I am not at all comfortable traveling at such odd hours with my kid and wife as it will cause a lot of inconvenience to my baby and it will cause trouble to her sleep routine which might affect her health as well.

5. Secondly, I booked a direct flight from New Delhi to Maldives on the 22nd of April because I did not want to take a connecting flight despite a cheaper flight. This rescheduling will cause me a great amount of trouble for my baby and my family as well.

6. The airline has now booked me a departure from New Delhi to Mumbai for 21st April at 6:40 pm and thereafter from Mumbai to Maldives as per the scheduled flight[protected]hrs on 22nd April. I can't be waiting at the airport for 12 hours with a 3 year old baby.

7. I hereby request the airline for the following:-
(a) Book me a hotel at the airport so that my baby does not have to suffer any health problems because it is not my fault that the airline has cancelled my booking. I have already paid an extra amount for a direct flight.
(b) Accomodate me on a direct flight on 22nd April through some other airline.

8. My Wife and myself have tried speaking to many of their customer representative – Miss Ritika and Miss Shweta, Mr Shriwant, Ms Rekha, Ms Neha but every time, allthe customer representatives have put our call on hold and never came back to answer. This is to put this thing on the record. I have been promised that I will receive a call back but no call has been received by me. I am going through a lot of mental trauma for the last one week.

9. I have written repeated mails to the airline but no reply has been made by the airline till now.

10. I am hereby requesting for the above-mentioned requests to be fulfilled because firsly, I am traveling with my 3-year-old kid and secondly, I did not cancel my flight and because of the airline my family has to go through this mental trauma.
