GoAir — Unjustified Penalty charges | |||
I just made a booking through makemytrip from delhi to luckhnow within half an hour i realised ticket has been booked for incorrect date. I instantly called up make my trip and asked them to coorect or cancel the ticket but they are saying they can not waive the airlines penalty charges. I told them it was a software/typing error. And i called them right away after i made the booking to correct the booking or cancel. But they are adamant on paying the penalty charges. I sent a mail to nodle officer and spoke to call center as well they neither help nor transfer me to any manager. We are sorry to read about the issue, In reference to your complaint regarding the cancellation penalty charged.
Please note that as we have checked the complete details and found that INR 2, 225/- has been charged you for the airline's penalty. Kindly note that we have tried for the waiver off for the cancellation penalty, but airline denied for the same.
As a good will gesture we waived off our service fees and processed the applicable refund for the same.
Hence we regret that no further refund can be process for the booking.
