I purchased a 2 ton Godrej AC on 28th March 2026. It was delivered to my residence on 29th March. Thanks to bungled communication by Croma, from whom I purchased the AC, and Godrej service staff, the AC remains unboxed in my home for more than a week.
The installation costs were not communicated to us by Croma. A Godrej staff called us and asked if we are ready to pay the amount and that if we did not know, we should have called and checked with Croma. This was last Monday. Since then, different people called at different times asking if we are ready to pay for installation or not as they have noted down that customer is unwilling to pay. After repeated rounds of talking and clarifying on Saturday 4th April, managers Mr K R Rejeesh for Godrej and a manager from Croma assured me that installation will be done today (6th April). Instead, another staff from Godrej called asking whether we are willing to pay and that they have noted that customer is unwilling to pay. Mr Rejeesh called immediately after and said he got communication from his staff that customer is unwilling to pay. I reminded him of our talk on Saturday and that I am absolutely willing to pay and I don't know from where this miscommunication has arisen. Nobody from Godrej contacted me after my talk with him on Saturday, until today morning.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service and excessive harassment by service staff asking if we will pay or not, especially since I have denied this claim to so many of the people who called from both from Croma and Godrej.
Never expected such poor and shoddy service by Godrej. I would much rather have the installation done by a third party if no one from Godrej turns up today.
Seriously tired of miscommunications and having to literally beg the staff to install. More of a "sell and disservice" department than a "sales and service" department Was this information helpful? |
