[Resolved] Godrej Appliances — refrigerator complaint | |
Dear sir, With a lot of regret and disappointment, i am writing this letter to you. I brought a fridge, godrej rd eon vesta 485 mdi 3.4 with a capacity of 470 liters from g-mart kottayam, kerala dated february 23, 2020 and received it on february 24, 2020. I was using a samsung fridge and at this time thought of going for an indian brand and i went for godrej. I received delivery of the fridge on february 24, 2020 and the demo was held on february 25, 2020. From day #1, we felt the cooling was not right and we thought being a new fridge and it will take some time, even 470 l capacity was high. Within one week, we noticed that the cooked food in the fridge began producing bad smell and the freezer producing no ice. I informed mr. Antony, the sales advisor, under whose advice we took the fridge. He told it will be alright and he will file a complaint to godrej soon. Nothing has been filed and time went by and we noticed the cooling has been deteriorating. Day before yesterday, we noticed that the cooling was very low and lot of moisture content in the fridge. Yesterday, i personally called godrej customer care and filed a complaint. I have a big family and that’s why we went for a fridge of 470 liters at a higher price range. A lot of things are there in the fridge and i am too much depressed regarding this in this lockdown time. I trusted your organization and felt the service that i get will be great. Sir, i had complaints on this fridge from day #1 and we informed the shop too. I really don’t want the defective product that was delivered to me. Since, it is under warranty period, i request you to kindly send someone to replace it as it seems to have some manufacturing problem. Hoping to hearing from you soon.
