[Resolved] Godrej Appliances — refrigerator model no. rs eon 603 sg | |||||
Dear customer service manager, I am writing this letter of complaint after numerous unsuccessful attempts to resolve a problem with my godrej refrigerator. I bought a godrej manufactured refrigerator model no. Rs eon 603 sg on 23-dec-2015 from m/s. Girias, mangalore branch. Since april 2018 the refrigerator is having problem with the cooling system. I have raised a complaint with the m/s. Girias and godrej service centre, mangalore (Complain no. N[protected]) on 21-apr-2018. A technician was sent to solve the problem, unfortunately they were not able to rectify anything but they defrost the cooling system and said the issue is resolved and took the service charges from me. It worked normally for 4 days and then the same cooling problem occurred. Numerous parts were changed since april 2018 and even after multiple attempts, technicians were unable to resolve this issue. After numerous complaints finally, the service center forwarded the issue to godrej engineers in bangalore. The engineers visited and checked the refrigerator and told that the motherboard is not working properly and need to be changed. We agreed to their advice and the new motherboard took 12 days to arrive. The problem still existed even after changing the motherboard. The following technicians and engineers have visited my place. 1) ashwin – engineer 2) ratan – engineer 3) pawan – technician 4) suhan – technician 5) naveed khan - technician Finally, mr. Ashwin (Godrej engineer) took the copy of purchased bill from me to check if i can get a refund or replacement of the refrigerator. He contacted me with a proposal of 55% of cashback. Fyi, the compressor is under warranty for 10 years. This agony has been continuing for almost 4 months now as your technicians and engineers have completely failed to solve this problem. I trust that this is not the way to treat with your valued customer. I’m really disappointed by the after sales service provided by m/s. Godrej and m/s. Girias with whom i’ve purchased many producsts. Unfortunately, your product has not performed well, so i would like to get a replacement or refund amount for my refrigerator. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until a week time before seeking help from filing a complaint with the consumer court.
