Godrej Properties — cancellation of booking and refund

I have booked flat in godrej central park, march 17th, 2018 by paying rs. 1, 77, 786/- as token amount. As of now there is no agreement or sale deed has been made between me and builder. I have not even given a receipt.

Due to personal reasons, when i contacted godrej to cancel my booking, they are saying, there is no refund policy from godrej and entire amount (1.77lac) will be forfeited and considered as a cancellation charges.

Please assist to get refund of booking amount.

Updated by Chinmay Gadhade I have been writing emails and calling the sales representative from past 10days but no one is responding back. The mail's are unanswered also the sales representative isn't receiving the calls. I have no idea why Godrej being a such a big brand is behaving in such a way. The Central Park Mamurdi project was for the middle class people to help them get a house and now they are just keep our money when we are asking for cancellation due to personal financial problems. Please help me with this concern.

File a case aginst to Godrej properties, let the government decide if people don't have money to them how they will pay.

Please be very careful before you book Godrej Bliss. Very Bad experience with @GodrejProp. Once you book, you’re trapped. Pathetic developer...hidden charges. No transparency in Godrej Bliss. They mention zero LUC charges. But in cost sheet they have mentioned in very fine print LUC charges are born by the customers which is illegal as per supreme court.

In spite several correspondences with Godrej bliss sales team heads and CRM of refunding our booking amount of almost ten lakhs they are not replying nor answering any calls or to our emails. We have left with no alternative then to approach Rera court and file a complaint for illegally holding booking amount in spite of cancellation done well within with in 15 days. Now we have to bear separate charges by appointing a lawyer who deals in Rera cases.
