[Resolved] Goibibo — bad customer service | |||||
I had to book a sleeper bus ticket from goa to mysore. As i had done hotel booking for trip from go ibibo daily notifications were appearing to book travel tickets from them. I logged in for booking bus ticket & chose date as 2.1.19. It got stuck at first time & later it took default date as next day & amount was deducted from the account. Due to being in meeting & travelling thereafter i could not notice date & as it was very next day i tried to contact everybody from go ibibo customer care (Customer care executive & manager - shiva) & srs travels Although, there were more than enough time go ibibo staff just kept saying we can’t help. Even though they had record that i was trying to book only 2nd jan tickets. Also, they were very rude & kept saying, who has booked, why didn’t you see the message & it will not happen on its own and kept wasting time putting me on hold for 20 minutes every call, srs travels confirmed that if website customer care speak they may reschedule but manger never called not even tried to have a concall. Even in the hotel booking they have charged more than other websites & provided only accomadation (Even though hotel provides free breakfast) that too non refundable, their customer care is not at all customer centric. Worst experience with any online travel site & customer care who has no intention of helping any customer & is totally vendor centric. Goibibo customer care just keep retreating we are third party. Service we can’t do anything. If they cant do anything why are they in business & keep sending notifications if more than 15 days bus booking they do not allow then what is the need of sending notification 2 months before? That too every hour.. Moreover their app is horrible which keeps getting hanged & take unreasonable defaults settings. In any of problem scenarios makemytrip, oyo, even ola would help but goibibo is simply disappointing. Was this information helpful? | |||||
