Google — manufacturing defect in the pixel phone purchased by me

I have purchased pixel phone on 30.11.2016, through flipkart. Around a week back, i was not able to hear any sound nor my voice is audible to the receiver during a phone call. I even tried to record a video, where in i have noticed that the sound was not getting recorded. Then i visited the authorised service centre, tvs electronics at basavangudi bangalore. Then i was informed that the internal microphone and earpiece were faulty and the motherboard needs to be replaced. They have quoted me a price of around rs. 19, 000/- for the replacement of motherboard. They have agreed that there is no physical / water damage / injury to the phone and such complaints are mainly related to manufacturing defect. Also, i have found many forums where in similar issues were reported by customers of pixel phones.

Google is a well known and well respected company in the world. I paid rs. 50, 000/- out of my hard earned savings keeping all my faith in the company. I never expected that google can also supply such pieces with manufacturing defect causing the customers huge pecuniary loss. The manufacturing defect can surface any time. To my misfortune, it surfaced after one year and the service provider informed that the company will not replace the mother board without cost.

I am passionate about google. That's why i have purchased the phone. Though i cannot afford. Please understand the above situation. I have handled the phone with total care and took all possible care. I cannot take care of manufacturing defect. Hence i appeal to you to replace the motherboard without any cost for which act of kindness i shall be grateful to you. I expect your company of great repute to respond favourably to my above genuine request.
