[Resolved] Great Eastern Appliances — hitachi ac indoor unit defective | |||
I purchased a hitachi zunoh split ac from great eastern appliances on 26 aug 2017. I received the order same day. When the installation guys unboxed the unit, it was found the cabinet for indoor unit was broken i told the service guys that replace this with new one, i also spoke with great eastern regarding this, they said they don't have replacement unit as of moment, the service staff said they will replace the cabinet. I agreed to it, it took them nearly 5 days just to replace the cabinet. They installed the ac in next 2 days. After installation i found out that the remote is not working, so i called the service guys again. Upon checking they said that the indoor unit is not responding and they will fix it. I said no, replace it with new one. I also spoke with great eastern manager and hitachi service via email and telcom. It has been 15 days and still my indoor unit is not replaced. Great eastern agreed to replace the indoor unit as soon as the indoor unit arrives. But every time i call they say that the unit has not arrived. This was my first purchase in great eastern and considering their service, i shall say that they have extremely bad service, once they sell a product, they do not care for any service to customer.
