[Resolved] Great Eastern Appliances — warranty period problem | |||
Material invoice date is 13.08.2017 & material delivery date is 13.10.2017, whereas material availability was checked at the time of placing order. Where is the material which i have ordered on 13.08.2017? Material (Make: whirlpool, model: 20154, fp343d protton roy - alpha steel, sr. No. Ine[protected] manufacture date & month is 12th september, 2017 at 08:23:47 hrs. Whereas warranty of the material start from 13.08.2017 which is far behind the product manufacture. Is it possible all over the world where the material is manufacture after warranty period? If great eastern appliances agree to change the invoice date after one month for his own business as the color was not available in the market then why not the company changed the same in same manner as the delivery date is 13.10.2017? Why customers suffer for one company (Great eastern) mismanagement as there is no loss of great eastern, no loss of whirlpool, no loss of finance company (Bajaj finance ltd.)? Emi for finance (Bajaj finance ltd.) of rs. 4263/- (Code: p[protected]tr) deducted on 03.10.2017 from my account no. [protected]. Is it possible to deduct the emi against finance without material delivery and installation? Customer losses the utility of a refrigerator for two months and again he is also loosing the warranty period for two months. – is it desired? Please change the invoice date without any additional pay from me as a customer as i claimed the warranty from the date of delivery (On 13.10.2017). Sub: An appeal to issue a fresh invoice to modify the
Warranty period due to problem at your end
Sir,
I am a customer of your company. I have purchased one refrigerator (Make: Whirlpool, FP343D PROTTON ROY- ALPHA STEEL) at your Kankurgachi Branch on 13.08.2017 with Finance (Serial no. of Invoice : KG/1718/SA/00311 on 13.08.2017). The representative ( Mrs. Mithu Das) of your Kankurgachi branch given demo about this product and checked the stock and assured that the product and color was available in company’s stock and would be delivered within four days. I requested m’am to deliver the product after 07 to 08 days in place of 04 days as I was not prepared to use the product on that time. I ordered the product in finance mode.
But after long time, the product was not delivered and after one month madam requested to return the invoice copy of refrigerator and she would change the invoice date as current date and she requested to accept another color of same model as ALPHA STEEL model was not available in the market. I did not agree to her suggestion and I requested her for sending the same color and same model as I am dedicated to use the ALPHA STEEL color refrigerator.
I also requested the Manager of Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd., Kankurgachi Branch and the selling person (Smt. Mithu Das) on 12.10.2017 to deliver the product and change the invoice date as I would loss the warranty period of two months. The Manager did not respond with the positive and helping attitude. He said that if any problem arises, nothing will happen to him, everything will be faced or suffered by the selling person i.e. Smt. Mithu Das.
The material was delivered on 13.10.2017 (Two months from the date of invoice) after long chasing and installed on 14.10.2017. Whirlpool Company grants the warranty from 13.08.2017 and registers the same in their record. I requested to Whirlpool representatives to consider the warranty period from 13.10.2017 (material delivered date) in place of 13.08.2017 (invoice date) but they did not agree as per the company laid down rule. The followings points rise as complaint from my end:

• Material (Make: Whirlpool, Model: 20154, FP343D PROTTON ROY- ALPHA STEEL, Sr. No. INE173704195) manufacture date & month is 12th September, 2017 at 08:23:47 hrs. whereas warranty of the material start from 13.08.2017 which is far behind the product manufacture. Is it possible all over the world where the material is manufacture after warranty period?
• If Great Eastern Appliances agree to change the invoice date after one month for his own business as the color was not available in the market then why not the company changed the same in same manner as the delivery date is 13.10.2017? Why customers suffer for one company (Great Eastern) mismanagement as there is no loss of Great Eastern, no loss of whirlpool, no loss of finance company (Bajaj Finance Ltd.)?
• EMI for finance (Bajaj Finance Ltd.) of Rs. 4263/- (Code: P17341030408Tr) deducted on 03.10.2017 from my account no. 30264084341. Is it possible to deduct the EMI against finance without material delivery and installation?
• Customer losses the utility of a refrigerator for two months and again he is also loosing the warranty period for two months. – Is it desired?
Please change the invoice date without any additional pay from me as a customer as I claimed the warranty from the date of delivery (on 13.10.2017).

I bought a TV from Great Eastern on 17th oct 2017at RS 20000 but didn't get any gifts.On ad it was written that there is assured gifts with every purchase . I bought the TV from uttarpara shop. On online the price was Rs19310 but your company took more than online.I feel that your company has cheated me.
