I was contacted by the sales representatives of this company and was invited for a membership presentation where they aggressively promoted a holiday membership package. During the presentation, their sales executives clearly promised that the membership could be used for both domestic and international holidays. Based on these commitments, both me and my wife were convinced to purchase the package.
However, after the payment was made through my credit card, none of the promised services were actually delivered. I only received a welcome kit containing a card and some papers. No proper explanation of the membership terms, booking process, or limitations was provided at the time of purchase.
Later, when I tried to use the services and asked about international travel bookings, the company suddenly claimed that the membership is only valid for domestic holidays within India. This is completely different from what was promised during the sales presentation.
The company is now falsely claiming that they provided a booking for Rishikesh, which is completely untrue. I have not received any booking confirmation, hotel details, or voucher.
I believe I was misled and pressured into signing documents during the presentation. The amount charged to my credit card was also higher than what was initially communicated.
I have already raised a dispute with my credit card provider and also filed complaints with the cyber crime portal and consumer authorities.
I request the concerned authorities to investigate this matter and help me obtain a full refund for the amount charged to my credit card. Was this information helpful? |
