GTPL — Letter to Nodal officer regarding complaint against customer care and sales person

Dear Mr. Kapil Mistry, I am Ankit Shah from Ahmedabad and just recently I have opted for GTPL's broadband service. I am very disappointed to tell you that I am very much displeased and disappointed with your customer care team and your sales person. To tell you from the beginning, I paid Rs. 3600 via cheque mode for both internet package (Rs. 2500 for 4 mbps for 6 months with 60 GB data plan) and router (Rs. 1100). At that time, I was told that router would be placed such that it would cover maximum area so that I could access internet from the hall downstairs and from the bed room upstairs. At the time of installation, technician told me that it would be harder for him to mount router at the aforethought location. He suggested that I should select another location. He also suggested to go with wider range router (300 mbps) as the opted router (150 mbps) wouldn't accomplish an access of internet from upstairs and downstairs. Moreover, when I asked him to upgrade it to wider range router he said that GTPL doesn't offer it. I conveyed the same to the sales person (Mr. Tejas Dave) and told him to stop the payment as I was going to buy router on my own. He assured me that he would stop it in the morning. Next morning, he said he couldn't withdraw it because it went for processing and told me that he would adjust the balance amount (Rs.1100) in the next recharge. However, he didn't give assurance in a professional manner. I had little apprehension that what would happen if Mr. Tejas Dave leaves the job? No body knows about our arrangement of adjusting Rs.1100 in the next recharge. The same apprehension I had communicated to the customer care, but customer care representative said she couldn't do anything. Isn't that your job to address customer's concern? YOUR CUSTOMER CARE COULDN'T HELP ME OUT AT THAT TIME. I was feeling helpless. I had to do something and so I was COMPELLED to cancel the cheque. Today, I got call from Mr. Tejas Dave asking to pay Rs. 2500 for package + Rs. 150 for penalty. I didn't get attention when I needed and when the cheque didn't go thorugh, GTPL comes with the policy of levying Rs. 150 when cheque doesn't get clear. How is this fair? How is this professional? This is how you manage customers?? This is what you want to spread around about GTPL system of working? Do you want to make this instance a word of mouth? This is really disgusting. Today, I was going through India Consumer Complaint Forum (https://www.consumercomplaints.in/hathway-gujarat-telelink-gtpl-b100225) and found quite a lot of complaints against GTPL. I got your reputation now. Simply you don't care! If you had little professional courtesy left in you, try to address my query that why should I pay Rs. 150 for your unprofessional system of working.
