I bought an Haier TV (39" LED TV) in the year 2018 which got repaired on 21-Nov-2021. I reported to Haier customer care on 22-Nov-2021 (SR is CH[protected]) and the service person came to my house on 24-Nov-2021. He opened the TV and said that the board in the TV has gone and that it will cost ~Rs4, 500 for the new one + Rs 1180 for service. I accepted it but the service person said that there is no stock currently and it will take 3-4 days to replace, which I accepted as well.
The service person came on 1-Dec-2021 morning and was trying to replace the board but the board seemed not to be a new one and either it had any proper package on it which the new ones will have. I requested him to give it to me so that I can take a closer look at it. To my surprise it was an old one and it had already had some rust on the pin and in the other areas. When I questioned him about it, he wasn't answering to me properly and gave his manager mobile number. To my surprise, the service person cum his manager were very rude and were even challenging me that I can't do anything about this incident (seems they were doing this for past several years)
It seems to be a daylight robbery to me and I'm not sure whether this is the way Haier deals with all the customers? or is it happening only in Chennai Service centers? Seems this is synchronized crime happening within the Service center people to cheat the customers.
I have recorded the whole incident and wanted to know what action Haier is going to take against these people?
And finally I regret why I had bought a Haier TV and will never go for any Haier products in future after this incident. Was this information helpful? |
