I would like to share that quality of haldiram sweets has become very poor. below is an perfect example to it. Why should be compromise on quality of sweets when haldiram charge more for every sweet as compare to other sellers. Moreoever the response from their side is very pathetic, inspite writting feedback mail to them still they haven't responded to me.

Dear Haldiram Team,

It is very disappointing to see that the sweets we had purchased for diwali on 25 oct 11 were found with fungus when opened on diwali for pooja.

I and my father went to haldiram outlet in faridabad along with invoice#108954 dt:25 oct 11 and sweets where your team accepted the defect but they were not having any explanation as to why it got fungus. They kept on saying that their might be some problem with this half kg box hence they were ready to replace it. But when we asked abt the sweets which we have gifted to others to which they said they will replace that too.

Moreover the sweets box wasn't even stamped at the bottom with the sale date.

Was really amazed with the solution your team was giving us. We didn't went for the replacement on the eve of diwali which got spoiled because of haldiram, we asked them to keep the sweets with fungus and given us in written that half Kg tiranga burfi recd with fungus but no body was ready for it, when we asked one of them commented that the sweets were ok, when we asked him to eat, he refused to do say and insteadmisbehaved with my father.

Their were 3, 4 peoples one them named Mr. Umesh.

Can anyone provide me the solution to this problem and what abt the gifted sweets, nothing can compensate it and the kind of attitude your team I think you need to educate them how to behave with customers.

I have brought back the sweets with me since none your team member at store was ready to give us receipt in written.

Now I have to look for other options incase I doesn't get any response within 24 hours.

I HAD BOUGHT TWO HALDIRAM SOAN PAPADI CLASSIC (250 GM) ON 13 OCT 11. WHILE HAVING THE SWEETS FROM ONE OF THE PACKET [BATCH NO B B(14) MANUFACTURING DATE 11 SEP 11] A PIECE OF THICK PLASTIC WITH SHARP EDGES STUCK IN MY MOUTH. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSE A SEVERE UNHEALTHY PROBLEMS.

FURTHER, I WOULD LIKE TO INTIMATE THAT AT THE SAME MOMENT I CALLED UP TO THE TELEPHONE NUMBER GIVEN IN THE SWEET PACKET ([protected]) AND FOUND THE NUMBER NOT EXISTING.

Yesterday, as there was some get-together in my house, so I purchased a packet of Haldiram’s Classic Salted Peanuts (net weight 200 gm., Manufacturing Sept. 2011, Batch No.A194). I purchased the same from a shop which is adjacent to my house. It was having MRP of Rs.37/-.

However, when we sat in the evening and started eating the peanuts, a stone came in my mouth but I ignored it. However, again two stones came in the mouth of my relative who was sitting with me. It caused me great embarrassment and I felt insulted and humiliated. Though nothing untoward happened but it could have resulted in some injury.

I purchased the packet keeping in view the high standards of quality and hygiene of Haldiram but I found the same to be just your tall claims and nothing else otherwise how could stones come in a sealed packet. One could buy such a packet of peanuts at a much lesser rate in the market but it is only due to the quality and hygiene maintained by you that one buys Haldiram’s products.
The above act amounts to gross negligence for whcih action needs to be taken.

I had visited the Halidram CP Branch yesterday at around 21.00 hrs when I was placing the order The executive at the service desk Mr Naveen Kumar said that there are certain food items not available and I should go the the First Floor and find out what all items are available and then I should come back to the counter and place the order. Do u think it is the customer's duty to check with each counter to know whether that food item is not available. Moreover the executive was very rude and raised his voice.These brands think that they can behave anyways adn no body will say anything.

I purchased this packet but the quality in this pack was not good its giving a strange flavour some peanuts are blackish,and not looking good in quality rather look infected its disappointing,
Many times I tried to[protected], its only ringing no one picking the call since last thee days,
if it is wrong then why its printed on packet? it's serious question on such a reputed brand!!!!!!br...

i ordered a 3Kg cake to Haldiram, sadar branch, nagpur for my engagement dated 03/07/2011. Design and flavor of cake was chosen accordingly and receipt of same was taken. on the day of function my relatives collected the cake. They were unaware about design, so they blindly took over the cake. I and my family were shocked when we saw the cake. The cake was of birthday event with a barbie in middle of it. we really felt embarrassed then. i dont have any receipt or paper for belonging, but photographs are there. The Haldiram cheated and insulted the lovely procession been taken. i would like to request them not to repeat this mistake ever with anybody.....

I am writing this mail to whomsoever it may concern in order to lodge complaint about a product of Haldiram's that was purchased from Spencers (Gach Tala outlet) Kolkata 700040. The product was a packet of Haldiram Moong Dal that was purchased in the beginning of this month and upon opening the packet for consumption, the content inside had a very stale smell and after emptying out all the content into a plate i found a worm like insect and a dead spider. Haldiram's being such a well known brand it was really not expected that the products could be so bad.

I would request necessary action to be taken as this product could have caused health related issues if it was to be consumed. I am enclosing a picture of the pack and also writing down the bar code no that is on the pack. Bar Code No. 01037543.

this is to bring to all concern notice that we have bought one pack of Haldiram's Nimbu Masala, weight 200 gr, packed on dec'10, batch no 20D(95), best before 16/06/2011, in this pack we found "FRIED COCKROACH".
The pic of the said is enclosed for ur ready reference.

this is for all those who are stricly vagiterian, pls do write it and raise the voice against the company..

sir, i bought a product of haldiram name nut cracker of peanuts, and when i eating this then i found a stone same size of peanuts mixed with masala. when i complaint to the company. they cant take any action.

I've purchased a packet of Haldiram's Nut Mix Wide batch No.15C (325) Packed in Dec. 2010, Net wt. 22g mentioned on the packet but when I purchased it from shop its actual wt. is 5g. How it can possible. So I request to you kindly take the necessory action against the company

I was served stale and cold food at the haldirams restaurant,centrestage mall.
manager argued with me that the dosa I ordered was prepared in front of him, so it can't be a stale one. evidently only five minutes had passed after I made an order but he was still complaining about the rawa masala dosa being prepared fresh. Furthermore, the other item I asked for was a grilled sandwich,but 2 griled sandwich were prepared-out of them 1 I took with me and the other was lying on the shelf for the next 10 minutes: of which I am sure that it would have been served to another poor and innocent customer like me.

First of all let me introduce myself, iam Biju, from kannur,kerala[[protected]]. I have purchased Haldirams Rasgulla [Batch No: Nov/058], Packed on 04/11/10 with the mrp of 62 rupees. And let me say one thing that i got humiliated by purchasing that product from jayabharati bakery, thalassery. And when i opened the pack i saw a black hair inside the sited bottle of rasgulla. The is very unfortunate as the Indians does not use the food which contain hair{animal or human what ever} so this is very ridicules packing done by the company. i don't understand how the manufacturing section is working ,and also packing section. so now i humble requesting your office to do the needful and further steps taken by me.

This complaint is regarding stale rasgullas that were part of the double maza pack of haldiram.
The pack which was manufactured in October 2010 was well within the BEST BEFOR DATE which is january .It contained one aloo bhujia pack and one rasgulla pack which was stale. we informed the company about it which assured replacement within 72 hrs and to preserve the stale pack.After no response for three days I called again but now they told that they have a weekly reviw policy and would sort out the complaint in 1 week. After that we called several times but still no replacement has come till this date. I request strict action against this irresponsible behaviour of the company.

A half KG packet of 'Gol small MATTHI' was purchased from the outlet of Haldiram, Connaught Place on 1st October, 2010. The quality of the Matthi, when opened was found below standard and poor. It was too hard to eat. The Manager, Shri Shekwat refused to entertain our request for a change, when we went there on 8th Oct,2010 afternoon. It is such a bad experience when reputed concern like Haldiram do not entertain a consumer's complaint.
Moreover, the site of Halidram is inaccessible.

I bought a new Classic Salted Peanuts from easyday and found small peanut coloured stone from the packet which injured my tooth also. This is the Third Incident of the same kind. Packet holds the batch number C184, date of packing 17/08/10, I want compensation otherwise i will move to Consumer Court. Attaching the image of the Small stone found.

This Mail was sent to Haldirams consumer Cell but did not got any reply till now.[2nd October 2010]

I purchased a Haldiram Bhujia Shev packet in the last week & while consuming to my astonishment I detected a piece of Stone inmy mouth while consuming the Gathia ( Besan Roll ) supplied with the Bhujia Shev.
On a complain by E-mail to the Consumer Care department they called up just to praise the quality & standards of their product & said that such a thing is not at all possible since they adhere to high qulaity norms.
I wondered that the Customer griveance was heard in such a rude manner even when the same related to the Food product.
Till date no action or remedy has been taken from their side.
I wanted to seek the remedy in the above matter.

I purchased a bottle of Haldiram’s Rasgullas (10R/278:29.03.10)from the outlet of M/s Chheda Foods Products Pvt. Ltd. (100, Mahalingapuram Main Road, Chennai) at 19:06:00 hrs on the 16th Aug., 2010, per Bill No. NG258808. On opening the bottle, I found a dead insect (mosquito?) inside.
I would like to strongly advise all prospective customers to be extremely careful in purchasing packed/bottled items of this brand, especially (as it happened in this case) if the manufacturing/packing date is too old.
I have sent an e-mail to the company (M/s Central Food Products,
Nagpur), but it is difficult to expect any response.

I stay in Bhubaneswar. I opened the Sealed pack of Haldiram's Namkeen and poured out some into a bowl to eat. When i started eating and was about to put another spoon into my mouth, i noticed someting as a coakroach. Alas, to my surprise, it was a fried coakroach inside.............................it was horrible ! It led to vomitting and i was sick thinking of what would have happened next ?
I am lodging this complaint against the Company and i will see to it what actions are taken ? If necessary, i will do the needful calling the Media.
