Writing this email to seek help in closure of my refund case which has been active from last 4 months.
I have my flight booked with Air India from Bangkok to Delhi on 2nd Jan 2023 however the flight got cancelled and without any notification it was moved to 3rd Jan. While we checked in to portal for 2nd Jan flight's web check-in we then realised that on portal date is showing as 3rd Jan. We then spoke to Air India and then they confirmed that the flight got cancelled (2nd Jan) and they have moved it to 3rd Jan. We showed our disagreement to travel on 3rd Jan and ask for a flight on 2nd Jan or 31st dec, AI didn't had any operational flight on these dates and suggested to cancel the flight and committed full refund. With that we cancelled the flight.
Since then till date I am struggling with my refund.
It's been already more than 100+ days and I have not received my refund.
I have booked my flight through agent called happyeasygo and there is a passing the ball game on between agent and AI. Everytime I speak to AI they say my refund will get initiate by agent and when I reach agent they say Air India is declining the refund.
I request you to please help me with the refund, direction and bring this to closure. It's matter of 30k and definitely a big amount for me and it's been very disappointing and frustrating from last 3 months.
