I got call from one of their sales executive regarding a plan of 3+1 (4 months) with 10mbps unlimited speed costing 1850inr,

I did the payment on 8 march 2019 and informed the sales executive,
the connection started on 15 march 2019.

I requested the executive to send me mail or message in written to confirm the 4 month period of internet, but she told me there won't be any issue, and connection will be stopped after 4 months only.

Yesterday that is 14 march 2019, my connection has been stopped, I called the same executive for the same asking her that she told 3+1 months that is 4 months of connection, she told that the data might not have been updated about the offer and now my connection has been stopped one month prior to the promised date.

I want my connection to get stated again for the one left out month

My connection is of Indore.

    I have disconnected from Hathway Internet connection following a process and returned the asset of Hathway properly before my plan due date. I have paid advanced rental till August 2019. I discontinued on June 2019. I have send e-mail to Hathway on their helpdesk on 31st May 2019. No response for 10 days and on June 10, I placed a disconnect request through call center. They came collected the modem and provided a receipt and closed the connection. There is no refund on plan but if we don't give the modem/router back we have to pay 1200 rupees while disconnecting their services.

    When, I raised a complaint customer care executive said as per policy we can't refund the plan amount. I asked the same in writing they said it is not possible as per "Terms and Conditions" we won't disclose the policy details to customer.

    I asked provide me link where in "Terms & Conditions" this was mentioned. I think TRAI is sleeping and providers like Hathway is cheating at their best without having policies defined.

      I want to reactive my plan. I already paid amount for reactivate my connection but after 4 day nobody responded for my connection, call center guys no is [protected] not picking my call.
      If you’re not respond my complaint. I will go consumer court. Hathway torching me last 4 to 5 days. My business is affected. Please you guys look my case sooner.

        I want to discontinue hathway broadband services for my account [protected] as I'm moving out and the new building doesn't have hathway connection. After trying to connect with the customer care via email and phone I have yet not received any response

        I'd request someone from their team to collect the router and modem from me and refund me my deposit.

          I am using Hathway cable service since more 10 years. I am staying in Aslafa Village, Ghatkopar (west), Mumbai-84. As per my understanding this service is not directly provided to us but it is provided to local operator.. Due to this we face lot of issues like selecting channel, registering complaint for non working etc. There is no customer support nos, there are couple of mobile nos which are always switched off or not reachable. There is no fix number as such where we can call and register our complaint. In fact there is no customer care at all. We have stand in queue for payment/recharge and it takes one day for activation post payment. We have to keep STB on for day and wait for activation.

          Last Sunday dated 31st May 2019 our services was not working. I have checked with neighbors and also tried the local office numbers. The mobiles were stitched off hence personally visited the office and found that there is some technical issue from center and hence it is not working for all the customers. This issue was since morning and was till late evening.

          My monthly subscription is Rs. 400 and per day it comes to around Rs. 12 per day. Will you charge Rs. 12 less in next month. How will this compensated. This happens very often, during recharge as well.

          Since selective channels is time consuming, these local operators deny these to uneducated peoples.

          TRAI should make some guidelines in this regard. If already exist please let me know what are those.

          Please take necessary action against.

            Executive from hathway came and collected cheque for renewal on 12th june 2019

            Gave cheque of amount 2478/- in favour of hathway cables and datacom limited
            For renewal for 3+1 month offer and static ip

            He again came in morning saying static ip will be charged extra
            I said I have been using from 2 years I haven’t been charged for static ip
            So why now

            He said will check and get back

            I said don’t deposit cheque before clearing static ip matter

            If not proving static ip don’t want to renew

            He said ok won’t deposit chq with out confirming

            Now when called hathway they are saying Acc is renewed and I don’t have static ip in my account is been removed

            Now my internet is not working and static ip is not working

            That executive is not answering calls
            Disconnecting my calls

            Called hathway help line call disconnect automatically tried 1000s of times

            Send mail to hathway no rely

            No internet and static ip after making payment

            Went to hathway office in Tardeo Jaywant industrial estate they saying to call help line
            They can’t do anything

            Hathway is running a fraud by taking money and not giving services

              Kindly Disconnect my Hathway Broadband connection.

              Reason: 1. Modem fixed immediately, after 50 calls conection given 10 days later. 2. Billing charged from day of modem placement, refusing to change billing dates. 3. Paid and got connection, immediately got a bill not receipt, so I don't know what is my position. 4. Till date refusing to give receipt. 5. No calls are attended by Bangalore office, helpline and customer care. 6. email id: bangalorehelpdesk...stopped responding after payment made.7. Unreliable, unprofessional and unwanted stress and harassment as every time we make several calls and it is unanswered. 8. Have used broadband for 15 days, please disconnect. 9. Connected on May 27, 2019 next billing due 21 June 2019, please disconnect today June 13, 2019...10. I have discommected the modem, please take it.11. Sent mail and left message.

                Received calls from some legal counsel on the non submission of modem and router despite submitting it.

                The connection has been terminated and the modem-router returned. Despite that I was asked to pay a fine of Rs. 500 claiming that it had not been returned? What is the meaning of these harassing calls?

                Moreover the registered no. and username for it had also changed as my friend was using the account on account of my shifting. I had received calls on my number to renew the account repeatedly despite that.

                Please send the concern team for the disconnection of the wi-fi router at Kondapur, Raghvendra colony, House 373/B, Hyderabad as the request for the same has already been raised couple of days back. But, no response. MY acc id:- [protected]
                No internet from past 10 days. I pad and now there’s no response from any customer service. The one who called me for connecting the internet doesnt lift the call now.

                  The GTPL cable service is not working properly even after complaints to cable service operator i.e. CRYSTAL SATELLITE SERVICE. The cable operator hardly responds to the complaints.
                  The payment for the service is paid regularly but it hardly works 3-5 days.
                  Even the neighbors are having the same problem.

I called the customer care executive but they are just making fake promises and not resolving the issue.
                    Hathway is giving me a hard time and they have one of the worst customer care support.

                      I am unable to access the Internet due to the Router Failure provided by Hathway Broadband Internet - Bengaluru. Regarding the same I have raised a service request on 05-June-2019 vide Service Request No: 04062019W190008 and also thru Mail to [protected]@hathway.net . Until now there hasn't been any update from the Team. It's been nearly 7 Days that I have raised a complaint with the Hathway Team.

                      On contacting the customer care team for Bengaluru on[protected], every time I have been assured that the problem will be resolved next day. But, neither there hasn't been any update from the Team nor the Router has been replaced.

                        I have been receiving hathway sms till date even after been discontinued for over 6years,
                        Its really annoying
                        This would be the only one reason why I wouldn’t suggest anyone to go for hathway..its sheer harassment.
                        I did not opt for continuing Hathway services in Dec 2021 due to poor signal strength. I surrendered the router also. But I keep receiving promotional calls and nuisance promotional messages. It is over six months I keep receiving nuisance messages and calls. It is surprising that the service provider instead of improving quality of service begging potential customers for re-connection !!

                            Hi,

                            I have requested for my connection and they came right away and collected the money and booked my connection. After that, I had to wait more than 24 hours for the cable connection and the modem installation was done on the third day of booking.

                            But they have never activated my account till now and it's been 4 days after the modem installation done. I have called them multiple times to get the account activated or even to know the reason why it is getting delayed. It is really hectic that we have to wait for a minimum of 5 minutes in the IVR to get connect to the representative, sometimes it goes up to 12-13 minutes and the call gets disconnected.

                            I might have called them more than 10-15 times but no proper response from their end, all they say is it will be done soon. When the person installed modem he told me that it will be activated in 2 hours, but it was not. Then I called the customer support they told me it will be done by the EOD but it was already 7 PM(I had no clue what they mentioned as EOD). Again the next day I called them they told me that it is Sunday and their billing team will be available after 12 so they will activate after that.

                            I called them again I was given 5 pm on that day again it went to 7 PM then EOD. I tried them in the morning I was informed at 12 PM again I wanted to speak to the supervisor but again I was put on hold for 10 minuted and the call got disconnected. So I tried again it was the same. I asked them to activate it but the same circle at 7 pm and EOD. Even I asked them what is the reason behind it they refused to tell me.

                            Hence I called the person who installed the router he told the reason that my payment was not reflecting in their systems and he asked me to contact the person who collected money from me. So I called that person and he told me that he had to take permission from the Headquarters and it was approved, also he gave his statement that my account will be activated by EOD but it was not.

                            So I called them again to check in the next day, the same scenario repeated, even I asked them to cancel and process refund but they are not doing that also. I have no clue what to do about this.

                            They are not ready to fix the issue at the same time they are not ready to cancel and process refund also.

                            Yesterday also the same, I called them they told me that they will activate the account within 4 hours at 10.30 am but till the EOD they did not. I called the person who booked my connection he picked the call and told me that they will activate but again they did not, so I called him again but he did not pick up the call at all. I may have to try it again either to cancel.

                              I have registered my complaint so many times with Hathway however no one is concerned to resolve it. I'm without internet most of the time and I'm paying in full to you. Does not matter if you try to make a complaint in customer service, they will keep you on hold in the name of transferring call to supervisor. It's happening almost every day, assigning technician at any time and on top of that no one is coming. I think I should not go to office and wait for the technician to come.
                              Sometimes I have to do work from home, so how am I suppose to do that. Even my smart TV functions also depends upon the internet only. Even the customer service is pathetic, it's like talking to a robot(repeating same sentences " I apologize for it, we have raised a ticket and tat timing is 24 hours). REALLY? How many times they will raised the ticket, and they themselves close it.(Without resolving it)(everytime they need 24 hours). There is no one to resolve it.

                                I have a broadband connection with id [protected] for a long time with your company. This is regarding complaint number 04062019M189407.

                                Also dropped an email to them as mention below:

                                I have registered this complaint on 4th June where I have said that my broadband connection is not working from last 3 Days. The modem is not working with no lights under router I was given the deadline of evening 8. I called after 8 pm and got registered my problem again wherein I was told that by the next 6 working hours the technical team will sort out the matter. I received a call on the next day around 12 am and was said that my problem will get solved by 6 pm. That commitment also failed.

                                It's 8 days now, and yet I didn’t receive any solution from your customer care. Even the technical team is not bothered to give a call and inform about the same.

                                This is the second time in a year I have to write to the nodal officer. I am sorry to say but the service quality of your company is deteriorating day by day. They have forgotten the meaning of commitment. Perhaps they don’t want their old clients to be sustained who are with them from years.

                                I request you to tell me whether my problem can be solved or not. In the case of a non-event, I will disconnect your connection and will make use of the other available alternatives with better commitment and services. If this is the service quality your company is offering, then why not look for other options in the market.

                                The funniest part was your executive called me to renew of account for which I am not using. Even I asked them to see complain first before asking me to renew. As expected No one comes back.

                                I am going to consumer forum for charging me for the service which I am not using.

                                  This email is regarding the pathetic customer service who know only disconnect the calls.

                                  My ac no is [protected] and I do not have internet and there is this worst service team who don’t listen and disconnect the calls. When we pay for the internet we do not take it for fun it’s for work and the provider should have a prompt service instead ever second day the internet link is down whom do we ask ?????

                                  While your sales guys promise the schemes and adverts and no service after sales what kind of an organization does this.

                                  Be customer centric and add value to the service you provide if not the money what you earn will not even fetch you a glass of water trust me this is how things work.

                                  72hr SLA what kind of Sla is this while I am sitting and waiting for your pathetic connection. If this doesn’t get sorted today this will get to a customer lost and in future a lot more customers lost.

                                  I hope some one is listening and there will be an action if not please disconnect my connection and reimburse my money.

                                    Gtpl net is the worst service provider..

                                    Not only company but area service team also is not providing service after regular complain and follow-up also

                                      Broadband connection is not working since a week . This is my 7th complain to you now . This is highly disappointing on your part . Please do something about it . Because I have paid full money for my connection . PLEASE DO SOMETHING. I NEED WIFI HERE . PEOPLE ARE DYING . FEELING LIKE A CAVEEEEMANN .

                                        I am not using my Hathway broadband from the last two years because I am moving to a different location and also use the different broadband for internet access. I continuously receive emails and messages and call from Hathway department. I need to disconnect my account and also want that Hathway returns my security deposit which I gave them via Cash. Please look into my issue and update me soon. It's so pathetic to receive a call, email and messages from last two years.
