HCL Technologies — No Response for EPF & EPS Withdrawal Request

Respected Madam/Sir,

At the outset, I would like to state that I cherish my nearly 12-year stint with HCL Tech.
It is therefore unfortunate that I have to raise a complaint in the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum against the PF Department of HCL Tech.

I was an employee at HCL Technologies from August 2000 to March 2012.

These are my details :

PF Number : GN/GGN/5572/6392
Pension Number : GN/GGN/5572/6624
Last Working Day : 13th March, 2012

On March 24th 2021, I received an e-mail from the HCL Tech PF Department stating that my EPF & EPS needed to be transferred out or withdrawn.

On April 15th, 2021, I sent an e-mail to "hcl_pf.[protected]@hcl.com" stating my wish to withdraw EPF & EPS.
I also stated that I was unable to login to the Ex-HCLites portal.

As I did not get a response, I sent a couple of reminders.

Please note that I am not employed since April 2019 i.e. for 2 years.
This EPF + EPS money is vital for my finances, especially in these extremely tough times.
This too, I mentioned in the e-mails.

Finally, I sent a courier to the PF Department of HCL Tech at the following address :
Sohan Singh
HCL Technologies Ltd,
PF Department,
D Wing, 1st Floor, A-9, Sec-3,
Noida-201301

In the courier, I attached self-signed Form-19, Form-10C, cancelled cheques, ID and DOB proofs of self and my wife (I had to identify a family member because my duration of service had crossed 9 years and 6 months).
I even attached a covering letter specifying my request and the list of attached documents.

The courier company informed me that HCL Tech had refused to accept the courier.

I requested the PF helpdesk for the reason for refusal.

I also requested the department to share an alternative to aid in successful withdrawal of my EPF & EPS.

I have not received any response from the PF department.

While I acknowledge that the PF team had initiated the process and I thank the team for doing so, the subsequent lack of response is unexpected and worrying.

Unfortunately, this has left with no choice but to raise my grievance against HCL Tech's PF Department in the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum portal.

As I stated in the beginning of this complaint, I cherish working at HCL Tech. I do not want those memories to be sullied by this episode.

I sincerely hope my grievance will be addressed quickly in good faith such that my EPF and EPS withdrawals are successful and I receive the entire payment through appropriate modes.

Thank you for the response.

I am unable to decipher the e-mail address of Mr. Pankaj.
The message says "protected" after the ".". It is likely to be the surname.

How do I obtain the complete e-mail address?

Also, is there an e-mail id for the department that he works in?
If for some reason, he is unable to help, perhaps, members in his department/team can.

I reiterate that I am not employed for 2 years.

I am unable to comprehend the reason for the inordinate delay in sharing the complete e-mail id of Mr. Pankaj.

I sincerely hope the response times and the information provided in the responses will be better hereon.

Also, is there an e-mail id for the department that Mr. Pankaj works in?
If for some reason, he is unable to help, perhaps, members in his department/team can.

It has been 7 days since you responded. That response was not usable and I could not proceed towards resolution of my complaint in any way.

Thanks for the response.

Truth be told, the e-mail from Mr. Pankaj was received only today morning at around 11:30.

Anyway, I have completed the action from my end.
I have registered on HCL Tech's PF Registration portal and I have replied to Mr. Pankaj.
