[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — amount debited from my credit card for credit shield insurance premium

This is to inform you that i have not applied for a new hdfc credit card as i already have one. Still you have sent me a new credit card. I need you to discontinue this card immediately.
Also i have not opted for credit shield insurance policy on this card.
Kindly request you to discontinue the above card and the policy. Or else i m going to court.

Dear Mr.Sarkar,

we wish to clarify that the Bank proactively monitors transactions on credit cards as a part of normal business and our quality risk systems and processes are available to protect our customers from fraudulent activities. You may recall that our bank representatives were in touch with you during 16/11/2017 to verify certain suspicious nature of transactions observed on your card account. Basis your confirmation that you were not sure about the certain transactions, a temporary block was placed on your card account on 16/11/2017, owing to which the new credit card was processed. The new card will be dispatched to your mailing address within 3 working days. Further, we observe that the credit shield has been activated on your credit card based on the option selected at the time of application of credit card. For further clarification, we request you to write to [protected]@hdfcbank.com and we shall assist you.
