[Resolved] HDFC Bank — bank account closing request | |
I was having a savings account in hdfc bank. Account number is [protected]. I have submitted an application in the home branch damanjodi for closing of my bank account in the month of september 2017. But the employee didn't close my account till now. I have also submitted the cheque book. My account balance was 1₹ at that time. Now, my account balance is -1366₹. I have visited the bank in january for asking the status of my account closing process. They didn't respond. I have waited till now and i don't know whom to contact. Please help me. Verified Support May 03, 2018 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, The TAT for closure of account without any linkages (for eg . credit card/trading account etc.) is 4 working days from the date of submission. We request you to provide the below details to enable us to track the status of your application for account closure: 1. Date when application was sent/submitted 2. Complete address of the branch where the application was sent/submitted 3. Mode of sending (post or courier details). If the closure request was submitted/sent more than a year back, please provide us with the acknowledgement copy. Incase you are not in possession of the acknowledgement copy, request you to visit the nearest branch and submit a fresh request for account closure. Hi I have applied for demat account opening at your company and it has been almost 25 days and my account is not yet open. Neither I am getting any proper response from the team

I would like to bring in your notice that at Nagda Branch of Hdfc bank cashier refuse to take cash due to over amont after hot discussion he accept the challan but did not refund balance amount i.e Rs 20/-
Please look into the matter and take necessary action to satisfy me.

Spoke to customer executive pavithra on 23/04/2018. I have been charged an overlimit fee. I am not going to pay it as I have not exceeded the limit. I have already talked to the customer care and they are giving excuses and unreasonable statements. please look into it.
