HDFC Bank Bank Credit Card — misguidance to get minimum payment for my credit card due | |
Dear team, I have written earlier few months before complaining about the credit card team harassing me in whatsapp. (Thats for missing payment for a month) In dec '19 - i couldnt do the payment because of personal reasons and health issues im going through - what ever salary i get goes by 5th of every month on loans and paying interests - left with nothing to survive (You can check my account statements).in this situation i asked the deputy manager - chennai branch (Mr. Manivannan r - and his mobile # [protected]). To arrange for a settlement and close this credit card, which he agreed if i pay that months minimum due - i clearing informed him that i can not continue paying this minimum amounts as its never ending and my overall due is growing endless. He agreed to arrange for the settlement - so i paid about 13 thousand on 31st jan 2020 hoping for the settlement to happen. But there was no update, instead the cc teams harrasment started again from last month. I explained to each and every representative the situation but no use - they were more like machines than humans. Instead - my salary account is blocked and showing negative balance of -17k, i was not able to access even those few rupees which was left for my survival. I was put into embarrassment when i swiped by card last night in the super marker and i have return the food items bought. Today morning - the collection team had went to my old chennai address in the early hours (About 7am) where i dont stay anymore since i moved to bangalore and informing about my payment due to my relatives - can there be any more disgrace the bank can do to the customers than these??? I called mr. Manivannan - there is no response and called the credit card customer care and logged compliant as well (Reference # [protected]) I'm already going through stress and metal depression - can share my medical records if required. Im on medication and severe financial crisis for last one year. I can not handle this situation anymore and this email will hold as evidence for further investigations. If the bank continues to harass me - i may have to take actions for which the hdfc bank and credit card collections team will be responsible. I want my salary account to be released and need a settlement and time to close my credit card. Don't want any calls anymore from the cc team - if possible put me to do not call list and they can not whatsapp me (Please refer my earlier complaint on this) or visit my relatives home.
