HDFC Bank Bank Credit Card — Threatening Calls for Recovery In-spite of making slow payment as per funds availability

Dear Sir, Ref. : Credit Card No. [protected] I say that, i have received threatening telephone call on dated 29.05.2015 at 10.14 hours from phone no.+91-[protected] | +91-[protected] from HDFC Bank, Collection Division, KanjurMarg, Mumbai and said that, pay the outstanding amount immediately otherwise i will come at your residence thrash, beat you and all your family members till death, also said that, after my death will remove eyes and play with the same. I say that, i requested your officer not to thrash and beat myself and my family members till death wherein, i have lost my job in month of January 2015 and do not money for food for myself and my family members. I say that, i am arranging funds and will make payments after arrangement of funds. I say that, i requested your officer to furnish email id wherein, i can send email informing him in writing all the problems am facing due to lack of money on which your officer said, he will not furnish the email id and also do not have time to look at your email, you do come to KanjurMarg Branch of HDFC Bank, and threatened me that, will cut your hands and legs and make you beg on street from which i can recover the outstanding amount of your credit card. I say that, on dated 23.05.2015 at 12.00 hours i received telephonic call from HDFC Bank CREDIT CARD officer bearing phone no. +91-[protected] from HDFC Bank, Collection Division to whom i already informed that, i have lost job in January 2015 and therefore, struggling for job and arranging money for food required for survival of my family members. I informed officer of HDFC Bank Credit Card that, to grant me some time, days and months for arranging funds to make payment of the outstanding amount of credit card. I say that, on dated 28.05.2015 at 10.15 hours also i received call from Mr.Vincent Bhalerao bearing Phone Nos. +[protected] from HDFC Bank, Chandivali Branch, Mumbai, wherein, i informed him that, i lost my job and therefore, delay in payment happened. I am arranging funds and will make payment accordingly. I informed officer named Mr.Vincent Bhalerao that, whenever there is earthquake, there is destruction and due to which the lives are disturbed and takes time to re-construct, re-build the habitat, lives, nation, similarly there is earthquake in my life and therefore to re-build, re-construct, repair, stand-again, re-develop will take time. The financial crisis is temporary phase in my life and once i overcome the same, will make payment of all the outstanding in my name. On dated 29-May-2015 at 11.40 hours received call from phone no.+91-[protected] / On dated 29-May-2015 at 12.00 hours Mr.Salman bearing mobile no.+91-[protected] called me on my mobile phone and immediately he ringed my door bell of my residence asking me why you are not making payment of Rs.3000/-. Please make payment right now and i will issue receipt for the same. On dated 29-May-2015 at 12.12 hours Call from +[protected] Ms.Manjiri Acharya from KanjurMarg Branch, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. I receive 20 telephone calls per day repeating same reasons inspite of answering the 1st call in morning at 10.15hours. My question, once i discuss with HDFC Bank Credit Card officer and furnish the information, why i am receiving calls entire day, If entire day i will receive calls for the same reason, i ride on bike i have to answer calls while riding too, if i meet with an accident, what my family will gain and what HDFC Bank Credit Card will gain???. I reiterated time and again that, i lost my job in month of January 2015 and going through phase of hard time financial crisis will take some time to stabilise my financial condition. As per the funds arrangement, i am making payment inspite of which i am getting calls, threatening calls for recovery of outstanding amount. i also informed Mr.Nikhil Udas who done all above on his email id nikhil.[protected]@hdfcbank.com posted at Chandivali Branch, Mumbai. i say that, on Saturday dated 29-Aug-2015 at 10.15 hours a person informed verbally that he is Mandar Vaity from Hdfc Bank, recovery division, chandivli branch, Mumbai came to my residence and catching my shirt collar started abusing, using bad words, also said be-saram, haram-khor mera paisa kha gaya saley bhikari. I requested Mr.Mandar Vaity to produce your identity card, employee id card thereafter i will answer your queries, for which he denied to produce his identity card.

I requested him will try to arrange funds next week and make payment accordingly for which he said he will take payment today itself whatsoever you do or else will carry me to HDFC, Chandivli Branch, Mumbai and show and make experience you the recovery arm twist tactics.

The above entire incident took place at my residence, Ghansoli and being eye-witnessed by the residing members of housing society.

I have already mentioned all the facts and problems i am facing, therefore, request for solution. As i have informed that, the financial crisis is temporary and will pay the outstanding once i overcome the financial crisis.
I say that, inspite of informing the officers and HDFC Bank viz email the things are repeated mere to harass by threatening me or to achieve targets and incentives by your officers.

on dated 30-May-2015 till the time of writing this comment i received following calls from HDFC Bank :

+91-[protected] : 14.40 hours - Samiksa
+91-[protected] : 14.27 hours - Salman

I say that, whenever i request the above officers to furnish their e-mail id and employee id, they clearly deny for the same. I say that, i requested your officers several time to furnish their email id to enable me to forward the email i sent to HDFC Bank quoting my in-ability to make payment on regular basis.

I say that, the above officers have always denied to furnish their e-mail id and employee id stating that, they do not have email id and employee id and are hired collection agents work for HDFC Bank.

I say that, on Dated 23.06.2015 | 13.05 hours | Call Duration 00 : 30 : 44 | Phone No.+[protected] from HDFC Ms.Manjiri called and handover the phone to Ms.Julia Mistry wherein, she asked to make payment immediately or else i am sending our collection officer at your residence who will sit inside your home till you make payment due.

I say that, i informed to HDFC's Ms.Julia Mistry that, i have informed Ms.Manjiri that, at present i do not have funds and therefore, i am trying my best to arrange funds and make payment of the outstanding payment.

I say that, Ms.Julia Mistry said that, i am not here to listen your stories, make payment of the outstanding immediately or else i am sending our Collection Agent to your residence for collection. I say that, i requested Ms.Julia Mistry to grant me few days wherein i am going through hard time of financial crisis which is for temporary period and will definitely make payment of the outstanding amount as soon as funds are arranged.

I say that, Ms.Julia Mistry said that, why you did not made payment towards outstanding amount when you had enough sufficient amount in your HDFC Account on which i requested Ms.Julia Mistry to send email mentioning the date month and year when i had enough sufficient amount in my HDFC Account and not made payment of outstanding amount.

I say that, Ms.Julia Mistry said i am not here to furnish you email id and employee id and will furnish the same, for which i requested to furnish email id to enable me to send email mentioning my problems due to which these payments towards outstanding amount are delayed. i say that, i will give in writing in the email addressed to you that, i have no intention to delay the payment and the delay in payment is happening due to no funds available as on date.

I say that, Ms.Julia Mistry said i am giving you time till 25-June-2015 and will call me on 25-June-2015 in evening about the funds arrangement.
i say that, on dated 05.08.2015 at 11.30 hours person came to my residence. the person came to my home named Mr.Dhiraj Koli bearing employee Id W10334 authorised Collection Agency named Alif Enterprises, C-118, Grace Plaza, S.V. Road, Jogeshwari-W, Mumbai. Wherein, Mr.Reteish bearing mobile no. [protected] said that, himself and Mr.Nikil Udas Manager Collection based at Chandivali Branch Mumbai are incompetent and not authorised to send reply to my email. Also Reteish do not have employee and email id. I requested to give me name and email id of one person in your entire HDFC Bank who is authorised to answer my email and is competent and authorised, for which Reteish denied.

i say that, on dated 29-Aug-2015, one person came to my residence at Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai informing verbally that, he is Mandar Vaity from HDFC Bank, Recovery Division, Chandivli Branch, Mumbai.

I say that, Mr.Mandar Vaity catching my shirt collar started abusing and showering bad words on me for which i requested him to produce your identity card / employee id card for which he clearly denied and never produced the same.

I say that, i requested him to give me some more time for repayment of outstanding amount slowly.

I say that, Mr.Mandar Vaity said make payment immediately or will carry me to HDFC, Chandivli Branch, Mumbai and will make you experience our arm twisting tactics of recovery.

The above incident took place in before the residing members of our housing society and same are eye-witnessed by them.
