[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — blocking of my savings accounts

Good Morning! It was nice talking to you yesterday over phone. Issue :- My SB Account is been locked by Rs. 14, 600 Approx. Ref :- Credit Card No - [protected] Background :- I am using HDFC Credit card from the last 3-4 Years without any issues or default. My problem started on 27 September 2014 when i had made a transaction of Rs. 23, 000.00 at VCL Infotech, Delhi. I got a call from your HDFC bank (040- and their offered to convert this transaction into EMI of 36 months and also informed me that i convert it on that day Transaction charges of 2% will not be applicable, so i agreed to convert then same into 36 months EMI. But when i received my statement on 7th October 2014, I was shocked that particular amount is not converted into EMI. If EMI is not converted due to any issue is it not the responsibily of HDFC team to inform us earlier over phone before generation of statement. So i made regular followup with the customer care team from that day onwards till 18th December 2014. But am not able to get any satisfying output from your customer care team. So during that period i had not made any payment due to this. I got fed up with this and asked the customer care team to atleast make reversal of my late payment and financial charges which is coming upto Rs. 2600 approx. so that i can pay the complete outstanding amount of Rs. 32.000/- . But customer care team had made a reversal amount of Rs. 1500/- only on 30th Dec 2014. Where i lost an amount of Rs. 1100/- approx. Even though i made a payment of Rs. 25000/- on 31st December 2014 and the same has been reflected to your account on 02nd January 2015 and informed to your collection agent regarding my payment on 31st decembe at vizag office over phone[protected]. Problem:- Here another issued raised when my SB account of Rs. 14, 600.00 had been blocked by your credit card team from 2nd January 2015. I had made another payment of Rs. 12, 500.00 on 06th January 2015 and hoping that i will be reflecting to your statement on 8th January 2015 or 9th January 2015 also sent the transaction reference / confirmation screen shot to your collection team on 6th January 2015. Now, there is no Outstanding payment pending from my side. Issues;- 1) How can the credit card team will block my SB account worth Rs. 14600.00 for an out standing amount of Rs. 6000.00 Approx. 2) Suppose we think that there is a time gap between my payment credit and your entry of blocking my SB account. But why cant you team act immideately upon the receipt of my payment of Rs. 25000/- on 2nd Jan 2015 and unblock my SB account. Its been 6 days that my account has been blocked. 3) why the HDFC team has not informed me about blocking of my SB account until my visit to Dabagardens HDFC branch office on 05th Jan 2015. When i discussed the same point with Mr. Srinivas of your vizag team over telephone, he told that post has been sent to my address. For the purpose of payment you peole will make numerous call to us and why cant you inform us regarding this over phone or sms or mail. Even when i asked for the tracking details also he was not able to provide the same. I had faced lots of criticism from an outside where i had dine in on 3rd Jan 15 and became a fool in front of everyone for not able to pay my bill in hotel. i felt totally shame on my face and wanted to die due to shame. This are some of my complaint number to customer care. 1) [protected] 2) [protected] 3) [protected] I had made numerous call to the below customer care number[protected] / 502) and failed to get any response from them as their are not lifting any call if possible i request you to try once. kindly do the needful and unblock my SB account on immediate basis as i am in need of money.
