[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Cash advance fee charges levied without information | |||||
I opened hdfc salary bank account and opted for hdfc credit card as well. On 17th march i activated my credit card and withdrawn rs 2000 just to check if my card is working fine or not. On 18th march i got my statement of rs 2348 adding cash advance fee 300 and service charges. I got a service call from hdfc bank department for 3 times informing that how much money i can withdraw from my credit card and what is the limit but no one talk about hidden charges. Called customer care and they told me that the information is there on website. I aggreed, the information is there on website but while informing about my limit of credit card and cash withdrawal and insurance i can opt for why the information for charges wasn't revealed? And the fact that i was just checking my credit card if its working fine and it was my 1st transaction and i got charged extra. Very disappointed with with this, please reverse my cash advance charges else i would like to pay this one time bill and will not be interested to continue with hdfc bank either credit card or salary bank account.
